The Black Rose was the only flower in a graveyard of ice. But then, she heard it. A faint, rhythmic beeping from her tactical comms. A signal, not from the place she was but from the different dimensions. A path of serenity that no one understood.

Henry's POV “Much better,” Denise said, adjusting my bow. I kissed her forehead softly, smiling as she giggled shyly. “Let's go.” She urged, and I complied. “Rosie!” Denise shouted, “thirty minutes is up, Rosie. Let's go.” We both waited. I faintly heard Rosie's door open and close. Then her footsteps, as she descended. The first thing that caught my attention was the silver pair of heels, then the floor-length dark red dress.

My legs gave way underneath me and I slowly buckled to the floor. My hair was already messy and matted and annoyingly sticking to my face.

Her room was filled up as everyone was trying the console her parents. Then an observant neighbor saw the suicide note lying helplessly on the bed. She reached for it and realized that it was from Rose. After reading few lines, her heart couldn't bear the sorrowful letter so she alerted everyone that Rose left a note. At that point, a note couldn't pacify the crying mother or the bittered father who was escorted outside with fellow elders consoling him dearly.
