The Black Rose was the only flower in a graveyard of ice. But then, she heard it. A faint, rhythmic beeping from her tactical comms. A signal, not from the place she was but from the different dimensions. A path of serenity that no one understood.

Henry's POV “Much better,” Denise said, adjusting my bow. I kissed her forehead softly, smiling as she giggled shyly. “Let's go.” She urged, and I complied. “Rosie!” Denise shouted, “thirty minutes is up, Rosie. Let's go.” We both waited. I faintly heard Rosie's door open and close. Then her footsteps, as she descended. The first thing that caught my attention was the silver pair of heels, then the floor-length dark red dress.

said Rose. “Okay, but be careful, Rosie! I want you to be fine always, okay? If anything happens, call me. I will be here within a minute. See you at home?” asked Piers. “You are going to his home tonight? But you promised me you would see the new series, ‘Optika’ with me,” pouted Seth. “Hey! I promised that we would see that on the weekend. Why are you pouting? Oh no! But if I don’t go home, how will I talk to Roger?” pondered Rose.

I leaned both hands on the edge of the mahogany desk, my weight forward, my eyes scanning every square inch of the high-resolution feeds. Beside me, Rodah sat perfectly still. Her coffee mug sat untouched on the tray, the steam no longer rising from the dark liquid. She didn't move, her gaze glued to the screen showing the front doors of the secondary greenhouse. Her fingers were curled tightly into the leather arms of her chair, her knuckles pale under the dim light of the desk lamp. "Watch the treeline," I said, my voice barely louder than a breath. Right on cue, a dark shape broke through the dense brush three hundred yards from the fence.

Willow stepped inside. The shop owner greeted her with a smile. "What kind of flowers do you want to buy, kid?" "Roses!" Willow declared boldly. She heard that roses symbolized love. If she gave roses to her parents, they would surely understand just how much she loved them. The shop owner led her to the roses. "You can choose the roses, kid." "Thank you." Willow watched carefully from the side. There were different colors of roses—white ones, red ones, and even roses that gradually transitioned from white to bl

"We found Ms. Smith's clothes and phone in the soil beneath the black roses… along with a human skeleton!" The entire room was suddenly deathly silent, until John sprang to his feet in shock, "What?!"

My eyes were still tightly closed. "stop...no...your breath stinks "I heard myself muttering that consistently. I heard a dark chuckle and the warm thing on my jaw moved slowly, slightly teasing upwards. "Here's the rope you asked for tiger." A female voice interrupted. He stepped away from me. My legs gave way underneath me and I slowly buckled to the floor. My hair was already messy and matted and annoyingly sticking to my face.

Her room was filled up as everyone was trying the console her parents. Then an observant neighbor saw the suicide note lying helplessly on the bed. She reached for it and realized that it was from Rose. After reading few lines, her heart couldn't bear the sorrowful letter so she alerted everyone that Rose left a note. At that point, a note couldn't pacify the crying mother or the bittered father who was escorted outside with fellow elders consoling him dearly.
