he growled slightly, hunching down. “D- don’t come any closer!” Peggy cried out. “Aw, what?” the man asked, his head turning at unnatural angles until his forehead was parallel with his chest. “Scared of the big bad wolf?” He growled, and his bones snapped with sickening cracks. His eyes blazed red as patchy fur erupted across his skin and mangy wolf ears sprouted from his skull. He smelled like blood and turpentine. “S- stay back!” Peggy cried. The rogue wolf ran at her and swatted her arm, sending the sword flying. Blood spilled from her wrist.

Calla It's been days since Ronan actually got back early from those tiring pack meetings. I have gotten used to seeing pups running around and just know they also have a wolf form that manifests at 18, I've been stuck in the pack library learning about their existence and the pack. As expected, a couple of wolves jump out of hiding and begin circling us, their intent clear as they grow

Roxanne's POV: The tingles that spread throughout my body made me and my wolf feel safe and very calm. A smile formed on my face as I inhaled his amazing scent deeply. It wasn't my intention to embrace him out of the blue. But seeing him try to comfort me in his own cold way made me want to cling to him for just a few minutes, even if he were to push me away. As I closed my eyes, I waited for the moment he would push me away or warn me off harshly as he usually did. When a few minutes went by without him doing anything, I opened my eyes and smiled as my wolf purred happily at how our mate wanted our closure as well.

She lets out a low growl in her throat as every fur on her body stands erect amplifying her sensitivity. Suddenly a rogue wolf lunges towards us with his feral intensity. His yellow eyes blazing with aggression as his rotten smell washes over the clean air. He is way larger and intimidating more than Roxane. But she doesn't back down, instead she charges towards it with same intensity. As the rogue goes above, Roxs uses her small body to her advantage, dodging the rogue by going underneath it. The rogue's falls in a thud since it didn't anticipate Roxs' move. She turns with Grace ready to defend us as the rogue charges to us again, this time angrier with his teeth clattering in utmost rage.

[Rosalynd] “I’m not a wolf,” I argue. “My wolf, Conner, disagrees,” Axel counters. “He says he’s seen her, your wolf. He also says she is beautiful, by the way.” He blushes. “I think we are both eager to meet her.” “Don’t you think if I had a wolf all this time I would have known about it?” I suggest. “I mean, your wolf has a whole personality of his own. I would have noticed if a part of me was arguing with me as much as Conner argues with you.”

The guy looked smug and he stared at her like he wanted to devour her. My fists clenched by my sides and all I saw was red. I wanted to rip his head off his neck and fling it to the dogs. My wolf growled so loudly in my chest that it vibrated up my ribs. I almost doubled over from how fast the possessiveness slammed into me. Rora didn’t even look in my direction at first. She was still smiling and from the looks of it, it was genuine. Then she finally glanced up and her eyes met mine.

Kassandra's POV: It has been four years of hell since my parents passed away and people are astonished that I am still alive without my wolf. They think i am weak. Today is my 18th birthday and I am hoping I can find my mate and since highschool is almost over I am debating if I want to run away and live as a lone wolf in the human city. For the past four years I have snuck out of the pack house everynight to let my wolf out and train so I am not weak. I also learned recently that alphas commands don't work on me which has me puzzled.

I hear a growl slip out and then I wink at him and walk away. ‘THAT WAS GREAT REBEL! WE ARE GONNA DRIVE HIM WILD!’ Roxie shouts in my mind. ‘You think so Roxie? This is all so new to me.’ I ask her. ‘YES REBS! EVEN CRONOS IS PANTING!’ I laugh again and this time Lacy looks at me with an eyebrow raised. “My wolf loved what I did out there. Said that Austin’s wolf is panting too.” I told her. She started laughing again, “Yeah, he is! You are a total babe Rebel. Flaunt it!” she says encouragingly.
