I gulped the water down, until she took the glass and gestured again for me to wait. “Where am I? Where am I?” I asked again, and she seemed uncomfortable. I sat up on the bed, gathering the strength returning to my body, grabbed the wolf by the shoulders, and growled: “This is the Dark Claws pack’s house?” She blinked and nodded quickly. He shifted in mid-air. A massive black wolf landed in front of us. The room exploded. Tables overturned. Roars shook the walls. We were surrounded by twelve full-grown wolves. Rian grabbed a heavy silver candelabra. He swung it. He smashed it into the face of a gray wolf.

After I was done, I returned to the room, tying a towel around my waist. As I stepped into the room, my eyes darted to Roxanne’s naked body lying on the bed. She was so sexually appealing, and I felt my wolf jump hungrily. I tried to suppress my urges and moved closer to the bed to cover her up with the duvet, as I didn’t want her to get cold.

And Rayne… Rayne was shown to a chamber far at the east wing.
