Roxie felt a surge of anger.
‘Mate, mate, mate.’ The voice in her head echoed. If that was her wolf, it needed to shut up and understand that her mate didn’t want her.
“I’m leaving!” She sharply turned and started leaving, but he reached out and sharply grabbed her wrist.
Roxie turned with a growl on her throat and bared her teeth at him maliciously. “Let me go!”
“Quit being so childish. We haven’t started what we came here for,”
She scoffed. “If I am being so freaking childish, let go of my hand, and you don’t get to see the child in me anymore!” She barked, trying to wriggle her wrist from his hand, but he had a tight grip. “Let go!”
