Elias raised his arm covered in steel to support it. Unexpectedly, one jumped behind Lily, it opened its mouth full of long, pointed fangs, drooling at Lily. She screamed in despair, reaching out her right hand towards the beast. Suddenly, a beam of light from the red crescent-shaped birthmark in the center of Lily's right palm hit the beast. Both animals were immediately drawn to the roadside stand of two stone statues. Neither Lily nor Elias understood what was happening. Lily's body seemed to exude that power, so she lost her strength and fainted. Elias whirled around, taking her in his big palm.

After sliding on my trainers, I head out the door. Roxy’s favourite place is our local park and at 6:30am it’s pretty quiet. He said grinning into her hair. “Rye doesn’t like to have a lot of things. She kept telling me that there was too much in the house, she doesn’t know what to do with it all.” Chance said quietly, looking back out the window. “It’s like she’s ready to run at any moment.” “I’m sure she is. We see it with the kids at the Star, especially when they first arrive.” Patch said. “It’s what they are used to.” Chance reached out and put a hand on Roxy. She nuzzled his hand and licked his fingers. The dog had changed a lot in the past year. She no longer cowered and growled at people. Now if she were to attack you, it would be out of wanting attention.

Shaking his head, his wolf inquired. Roxy grinned as she took her phone from her pocket. "Can you tell me your phone number?" For a little period, he was speechless, staring into her eyes. Will you get a handle on things? His wolf sat down, with paws covering his eyes. He snapped out of it, reminded her of the phone number, and she dialled it. "That's it," she said. Then she knew she needed to enquire about his pack "I'm a member of the White Claw Pack; which pack do you belong to?"

Roxie turned with a growl on her throat and bared her teeth at him maliciously. “Let me go!” “Quit being so childish. We haven’t started what we came here for,” She scoffed. “If I am being so freaking childish, let go of my hand, and you don’t get to see the child in me anymore!” She barked, trying to wriggle her wrist from his hand, but he had a tight grip. “Let go!”

Roxy whispered, staring at the girl hooked to the IV and her face somewhat looking colorful from the pale complexion. " I hope so too," Beatrix answered, sitting on the loveseat. Her head is running a mile per second thinking about where Ricardo has gone and why her heart and head are so wildly working worried about him.
