I remember she said her wolf is named Roxie and Tio said Austin’s wolf was named Cronos. Nyx looks at Aiden, “Coming babe?” “Always.” He looked at everyone else, “Anyone who can and wants to come, shift and let’s go.”

My nails were almost biting on its skin, but I controlled myself to not cause it to be more aggravated than it already was. “Fluffy, stop!” I yelled when I caught its name on the roof. Anya gave that name. Indeed, he was fluffy but a monstrous fluffy pet! I groaned in irritation. “Hmmm! Unicorn, stop!” Still not listening! “Siberian, stop!... Doggy! Dammit, you monster dog, get off me!” My frantic thrashing and kicking beneath the beast was no use. It didn’t give me another chance to scream again when its tongue tried forcing my mouth open. I grabbed a fistful of its fur and used my remaining strength to keep the distance.

I looked up only to see Wolfe. He stepped in, holding something out toward me. “Here,” he said. “I think this fell from your bag.” I frowned slightly, glancing down. My heart skipped as I stared at the small, colorful bandage of Paw Patrol in his hand. Paw Patrol was Creed’s favorite and most of his belongings, if not all, have the character ingrained on it. My fingers closed around it quickly, almost instinctively. “Oh,” I said, forcing a small smile. “Thank you.”

“That sounds good. If will give you time to recover. Has Roxie been talking to you?” ‘I’m still here Rebs. I will be ready for Harris when he gets here. With you resting and taking care of yourself, it’s taking some pressure off me.’ Roxie says. ‘I’m sorry Rox. I know you have a lot on your plate right now.’ I tell my wolf. ‘We need to resolve these threats Rebs. It will keep our pups safe.’ I look at Austin, “Roxie says she will be ready for Harris. She wants to get rid of any threats so the pups are safe.”

He wiggled the leashes in his hands. "Where'd you get them?" "Just by the roadside where the second popped out from." "But they're just so cute." I gushed at the little puppies. "Do you even know their breeds?" "The hell do you take me for? They're Lhasa Apso." I defended myself. "Ten points to Roxanne!" "I'm going to have to get used to that name, innit?" "Yup." He popped the 'p'. "You know you can just call me Roxy right?"

I don’t really understand what it is because almost half of his explanation was in the form of sound effects but it doesn’t really matter because he seems satisfied with me just flying around making the occasional airplane noise. A few minutes later Maddy and Charlie come in to the room and says, “Ah, I see you’ve been introduced to Paw Patrol. Careful, he’ll suck you into that for hours.” “Oh good, can’t wait.” “She’s being Skye!” Seth says excitedly. “He must like you. Skye is his favourite,” she says with a wink. “Oh wow, I’m honoured,” I say with a grin. At that moment, the front door opens and a woman, who I assume is Maddy’s mom walks in saying, “Who’s car is in front of our house?”

"Yes" I said and they both squeaked happily "but it won't work" I said sadly. "But why??" they both asked.

Once outside the church, Roxy and Skin hurried down the road. They were headed to the woods. Roxy was trying to follow the scent as she could not see or hear the werepanther. Moments later, Skin saw her run off towards a thicket of trees. He shot after her but by the time he reached the thicket, he had already lost her. He sighed thinking about the newbie’s obsession with going solo on the mission.

I chuckled, and with another quick snap, I shed my remaining clothing, leaving only my boxers hidden beneath the water's surface. As I stood there, the soft sand shifting between my toes, I couldn't help but drink in the sight of Roxy, my forever mate. I held her close, keeping her body partially above the water's surface, as she began to remove her shirt. But I stopped her, my arm reaching out to gently grasp her wrist, pulling it to my chest. Roxy's eyes met mine, a hint of confusion etched on her beautiful face. "Well, aren't you going to claim your mate?" she asked, her voice laced with a playful challenge, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
