Inside Aurora's room, Ruby continued applying the healing salve, her touch soothing on Aurora's injured skin. "Wait," she said suddenly, pausing at Aurora's shoulder. "You have a birthmark here. The wolf’s body seemed to be made of diamonds the way it sparkled and I for sure have never seen a tail so beautiful and long. And her eyes, they were a very unique shade of multiple colors, like a rainbow. “Silver seems like a more realistic version of this wolf in the painting,” Mac remarked and I absolutely agreed with him.

“Stay away from him. He’s not good news.” Roman just laughed, leaning back in his chair. “You wound me, Cleo.” Julian finally looked up then, and that’s when I noticed it—one of his eyes wasn’t hazel at all. It was silver. Actual silver.
