Inside Aurora's room, Ruby continued applying the healing salve, her touch soothing on Aurora's injured skin. "Wait," she said suddenly, pausing at Aurora's shoulder. "You have a birthmark here. A crescent moon shape." Aurora tried to look over her shoulder. "I've always had that." Ruby leaned closer, examining it with interest. "It's faint, but distinctive." The door opened abruptly.
