“You are Winifred Zea?” Connie looked at Winifred, the muscles on her face twitched slightly. “That is right. And you are here for me?” “Exactly.” Connie regained her composure after the initial confusion. She continued, “I will introduce myself. My name is Connie Yorke, and I am from Prime City. I am here not for what happened just now, though.” Winifred Zea was perplexed. She had never heard of the name Connie Yorke nor seen that name among any of Autumn Field Group’s business partners.

Later in the evening, after Selena had stepped out to walk the last guest out and Baron had gone to tend to their sleeping child, Rome and Connie were left alone in the cozy studio’s living area. “And to think you were fantasizing about Baron in bed when you conceived my nephew,” Connie teased, leaning in with a conspiratorial grin. Rome grimaced and whispered back, “I know, right? I was disgusted with myself.” Connie giggled and sipped her coffee. Rome let her eyes wander across the room, landing on the photo frames lining the shelf above the TV. Connie asked batting her brown eyes as she tucks a piece of her curly chocolate brown hair behind her ear. "No, thank you. I'm good." Jade said without making eye contact with her. "Oh come on. Just a teeny tiny drink?" Connie begged and my blood began to boil. Irritaion began to roll off of Jade and I decided to step in. "Connie, was it?" I ask. Connie flirtatiously nodded her head biting her bottom lip. "Well, Connie, Jade said 'no thank you'. Plus he also has a mate and it would be inappropriate."

It was about Connie and what she wanted because Tyler seemed like a great guy, and he was genuinely hurt that Connie didn’t want anything to do with him. I felt for him because I could relate to him. If I could get one thing done out of this whole trip, it would be to make sure these two mates at least talk to one another. “I could never bring him home to my pack,” Connie said, tugging at her fingers. “But maybe it wouldn’t hurt to speak with him anyways.” I felt relieved to hear that; I couldn’t hide the large smile on my face as I looked up at Enzo excitedly. He looked surprised that I managed to convince Connie to give Tyler a chance.

Annah is a very special lady, and I can't imagine my life without her." Russo nodded in agreement, his gaze warm and sincere. "You're absolutely right. She's an incredible person, and I would hate not to see you two get together. Your happiness means a lot to me, Connor." Connor felt a deep sense of gratitude for having a friend like Russo who had seen them through thick and thin. Their conversation continued, filled with laughter, memories, and plans for the future, as they relished the joy of reconnecting after what had felt

Connie sighed. “And he was a perfect gentleman the entire night, helping me not be sad seeing you making out with Ruth. Honestly, if our future goals hadn’t aligned, I’d probably have stayed with Donald. He’s the superior Hunter brother as neither you, Caleb, or Jordan ever own up to your mistakes or how you’ve hurt someone else.” Connie snorted before I heard a door slam. “Um… was that you or Michael slamming a door?” I questioned but got my answer as I could hear a muffled Michael shouting for her to open the door.

Connie is originally from Wyverna, but her father took her to Snowden where she endured inhuman torture. I stumbled upon her during a rescue mission, killed her father, and freed her from that hell. I left her in the care of a friend in Snowden. To her, I'm both her savior and her father's killer." That was the gist of it. There were details Alexander did not share, like Connie's extraordinary talent and her rapid progress in martial arts cultivation. He also was not entirely sure about the relationship between Connie and her fath
