I held out my hand, palm up “The gun Kain, then we can talk, you said you wanted to talk right?”
He nodded, although he looked conflicted, very conflicted infact. But after a minute of looking at the gun in his hand and back at my serious face, he finally stepped forward and dropped the Glock into my open palm. As soon as my fingers closed around the hilt, I drew it out of his reach and charged forward.
My fist connected with his jaw and he stumbled back, I narrowed my hands, partly because of the stinging in my knuckles and the anger that coursed through me “I haven’t changed much, I still know when you need a good punch to get you back to your senses”
