It was an almost even tussle but soon, the werewolf’s extra strength and girth gave it an advantage and it landed more ferocious bites and scratches than Anubis could. Round after round, they would launch at each other, bite, snap, and whirl around each jostling with their heads, necks, and claws, trying to gain the upper hand. Birds took flight in swarms and the fearful hoots and sounds of frightened animals rang out. There were monstrous and unnatural sounds emanating from the battle. The sound reverberated around the night and Georgia could feel the deep ferocity of it in her chest. A lion’s roar would have sounded like a mouse’s squeak
