"...primitive." Ren sat in the metal chair. Leo stood behind him, his arms crossed. "Watch your back in there, brother." Ren put on the goggles. He felt the cold electrodes touch his temples. "Initialize," Ren commanded. Kara hit the Enter key. The generator hummed louder. The lights in the bunker flickered. Power surge. LOGIN SEQUENCE INITIATED. BYPASSING AUTHENTICATION. CONNECTION TYPE: HARDLINE (UNREGISTERED). WELCOME, USER [ERROR].

I notice that caught the eyes of a few people at other tables but everyone seemed to brush it off. After dinner, Alyssa and Evan led us outside for the Goddess run. I felt my nerves go haywire and Griffin pulled me closer. "You okay?" he whispered and I shrugged. "I'm just nervous. I've never seen this." I lied and he smirked. "Don't worry, baby. I'll be with you the whole time." he assured me. POV Griffin

Third person POV " Run!! " In a split second every cell in her body was electrified, the sound of the steps he took away from the dark arrived in her brain even before it happened. " Run!! " Jane urged her legs because she was scared of the strangely familiar feeling she was getting. She felt his presence from far, the discomfort in her chest motivated her legs to take uncertain steps back to build some distances between her, and whoever was on the other side. Looking behind Jane, the man narrowed his brow introducing his deep black eyes like bottomless well that one could fall in if not careful. His amusement faded into thunder

Suddenly I just was not scared and sad anymore but instead, I started to feel relieved as if I know for sure that I've really got this. "Thanks, Dad," I said, with a smile that screamed nothing but gladness. Not for his advice but for him. "I didn't do anything. It's you that made yourself believe that you can do this. But now, please do me a favour by going inside and calling your mother and your brother. We are running late. Virginia is two hours away and we have to reach there by one latest and it is already nine fifty-five."

Ryan whined, now trying to pull the door with both his hands. August ran towards him, "Because it's not your car moron, let go. I will call a cab." He pulled his complaining friend away from the vehicle before anyone sees them. Ryan struggled a bit before following his friend obediently. _______________ August blowed on his palms before shoving it inside the pockets of his hoodie. He breathed in the chillness of the night. The barking of dogs and irritating sounds of crickets pierced the calmness of night. He shuddered slightly as a small breeze caressed him.

Run now! Marc bolted upright, breathing hard, his eyes frantically scanning the darkness. He almost bolted. The instinct to flee on the heels of his strange nightmare was strong. Only the recollection he wasn't alone kept him from engaging in a mad dash into the woods. Antonia, who'd stopped speaking to him after his announcement of Pack Law, stirred. She whimpered and tossed. "No," she muttered. "No. He's dead. Evil comes. Must hide. Must run."
