FATED TO HEAL

FATED TO HEAL

“Huh… huh… huh…” Kieran’s breaths came in ragged gasps, each one louder than the last as he struggled to keep moving. Every muscle in his body was screaming, begging him to stop. His friends were barely holding up either, their faces red, shoulders hunched as they tried to recover. They’d been running for what felt like forever, just over a mile, and it was starting to show. But then he looked ahead, eyes fixed on the two figures who hadn’t even slowed down.

Run.

Run.

So I didn’t bother with a response. Of all the places in South Dakota to stop, this was a great one. The hills around the river would at least provide a little bit to hide me from watching eyes. My feet pounded down against the earth, carrying me one step further away with each stride. 'But you don’t even know what you’re running from.'

Running

Running

I looked around to see Sam look at his cousin in horror and then shift and run. "Hell no" I growled and shifted to follow him. As I ran, I spotted Carla getting cornered by two hunters. In a blind rage and ran at them and literally tore through them as I passed. I paused then to check on the others. Lee and Devon were taking down a couple of warriors and I spotted Dean and James working on a few hunters. They were all winning but then I heard an howl that sent ice through my veins.

This was a fantastic story! Well written, flowed well, and loved the different POVs. Definitely had some twists and turns throughout with a few sad moments, but also had some beautiful, loving moments as well. Also happy with the epilogue & how it tied everything together. Nicely done author! 😊

I've made a lot of headway, though nothing like Marinah managed earlier today with Beck. Marinah easily keeps pace. Beast grumbles, letting me know she can't beat us and adds speed. She's gorgeous with thick brown hair fanning out behind her in the ocean breeze as she runs on steady feet, no signs of awkwardness. She picks up her pace when I increase mine and easily stays beside me. We run for miles as K-5 courses through our veins and the fresh air cleans my brain of thoughts of war and violence.

The Alpha's Hated Mate

I heard a loud gunshot behind me making the Adrenaline in my body warm together with my blood giving me the strength to run even faster I could feel a thin layer of sweat covering the nap of my neck. "Aria, don't run straight you need to run in a zig-zag move in a zig-zag motion" I heard Darian's voice he is already running in the same lane as me. Oh God, my body tremble in fear as their gunshot continue sounding in the air but non touch me all thanks to Darian's trick on how I should run.

Silent Howls

Silent Howls

My bare feet slammed against the forest’s ground, branches whipping my arms mercilessly. Unable to think straight, I ran, hearing only one name pounding through my skull: “Cassian. Cassian. Cassian!” As I sprinted through dark woods blindly, the path was unclear, almost confusing. But I pushed forward, Alpha Sebastian's amused voice rolling through trees like smoke. “Good girl. Let's see how long you can run!” My rival instincts kicked in as adrenaline exploded through my veins, fueling my courage. I ran without stopping, terror driving my legs. Vines snagged my ankles, twigs sliced my skin, and the cold dirt stung with every step, but I didn’t.

Desired by the Mafia Kings

Desired by the Mafia Kings

L A N A I don't think when I run. As my feet hit the pavement faster, my chest burns and heaves as I flee for dear life. I turn corners without checking where they lead, because right now? Anywhere feels better than standing between Ezio and Dante while they decide what to do with each other.

The Billionaire's Ultimatum

The Billionaire's Ultimatum

I just ran, my bare feet slapping against the rough pavement as fast as they could, pain shooting up my legs with every step but I didn't care. The SUV was maybe thirty yards away but it felt like miles. Twenty yards. I could hear them gaining on me, Alexei’s voice in the background screaming orders in Russian. Ten yards. My lungs were beginning to burn. I could feel my feet bleeding and they were probably leaving behind a trail of blood but I didn’t stop. Five yards. I practically threw myself at the SUV, fumbling with the key, my shaking fingers barely able to hit the unlock button. You’ve got this damn it!
