" I set the tray down with a flourish. In the dim light, the porridge looked like it was powered by a lithium battery. It was glowing. It was vibrant. It was, for lack of a better word, aggressively cyan. "It’s very... blue," Alaric noted, squinting through the gloom. "It is ze extract of ze Blue Algae from ze depths of ze Mediterranean," I lied, my heart dancing a jig. "Rich in antioxidants and ze pigmentation of health. A slow smile spread across Bluey’s face as she showed the message to Pistol. “Well, well,” Pistol drawled, leaning back in her chair with a satisfied look. “Looks like our little bird’s cage just got a bit smaller.” Bluey chuckled, tapping the screen of her phone thoughtfully. “Seems like someone wants us to pay April a visit. And who are we to disappoint?” Pistol’s eyes glinted with mischief. “What’s the plan, Bluey? We gonna pay her a nice, friendly visit?” Bluey shrugged, though her expression suggested anything but friendliness. “We’ll see. Maybe just a reminder that we haven’t forgotten about her. Keep her on her toes.”

Athena's breath caught as she ran around the tall hedges and the creek came into view. No matter how many times she had seen the Blue Creek, it always managed to dazzle her. The creek got its name from its literal blue colour made more dazzling by the glint of morning light dancing over it. “You!” Raymond growled as he grabbed her. She laughed as he nipped her neck threateningly, warmth coursing through her at the way her arse fitted against his crotch as he dipped and straightened her.

“I made sure Avery Peck would no longer be a problem for any shifter.” Blue’s expression turned to stone as he stared at me, mouth agape. He was clearly familiar with the name. “You’ve heard the name?” I asked. “Creepy looking guy. I nodded. “The one and the same.” “Shit, this is crazy.” Blue leaned back on his elbows. The old railing creeped and groaned under his weight.

She sighed heavily as she flung her head back in frustration “I just….” “I know you don’t trust her or want to and that’s fine, but remember Blue moon isn’t just known for its strong warriors, it’s also known for the mercy we offer where its due, and I feel Zara’s due to be shown mercy at this point” I tried to persuade her softly, just so she could feel a little more at ease with Zara being out there. “Ok, I’ll give her time, but I’ll never fully trust her, even if she does prove she’s not going to do anything”
