『.*+ •ᴄʜᴀᴘ. ᴛʜɪʀᴛʏ ᴛʜʀᴇᴇ+ •*.』 THE RED AURA AROUND SCARLETT'S SKIN LESSENED INTO A FAINT STRAWBERRY GLOW.

She traded her brilliant future for his life. Pulling Julian from a burning car cost Nora her career, her mobility, and her peace of mind. Guilt-ridden, Julian married her. He built a safe, padded world to care for her broken body—paying back a life-or-death debt with zero actual love. Then his long-lost first love returned from Paris. Clara claims Nora’s care is holding her back. She convinces Julian to strip away Nora’s comfort and ignore her desperate panic attacks in the name of "tough love." While Julian turns icy cold to his wife, he showers Clara with romance and expensive gifts. He thinks Nora is trapped. He’s wrong. Silently, secretly, Nora just accepted a dream offer in Londo

Vivian laughed with her group of friends, then turned and walked off from her, joining the popular kids on the other side of the ruins. Scarlet turned back and looked at her marshmallow, now covered in dirt, and the pain in her stomach increased. This night could not get any worse. She just wanted to get out of here. To be away from all this noise. To be with Sage. Wherever he was. “Don’t mind her, she’s just bitter,” came a voice. Scarlet turned to see Blake coming over and sitting next to her, smiling. She didn’t know what to say, so she didn’t say anything. She appreciated his sympathy, but it was too little, too late; she had such conflicting feelings about Blake. So she just looked down

Laylin softly breathed out a sigh at his flaring temper. She closed her eyes in silent, her heart drumming in her chest. “Scarlet was the daughter of a Rakhbar Princess and Sansy so it made her the perfect medium: the blood of both, Red Witch and White Wolf. You said the Old Mistress sees the future, did she see it?”

“Zayne, please. We’ll be exposed. This is serious. People are watching. Someone might record this. You don't want the news of the popular Alpha Sterling having a second identity as a mysterious supernatural wolf?” “Fine,” he said. “Joy killer.” I looked around waiting for what zayne would do. Everyone had backed away. Some were hiding behind desks. Some just stared, frozen. The girl in Scarlet’s grip was crying now. Her face had gone pale. Her lips were trembling. I stepped closer to Sara—no, Scarlet. I didn’t want to hurt her, but I couldn’t let this continue. He looked at Scarlet as I drew closer. “Well,” he said, “your mate doesn’t play.”

I asked her, and she looked at the water and looked at me. "You won't gain the magic of the Valkin," she said, and I was in shock. "Your mate has no wolf. You can only gain the magic when her wolf comes. She is just as good as a chosen for now," she said, and I was shocked. I looked at Maxwell and Clay, and the shock registered on their faces too. "Will she ever gain her wolf?" I asked, and she looked at me. "What is her name?" Elsa asked. "Scarlett Vladislav," Clay responded, and she looked at us.

I reached for our bag; my muscles relaxed as I picked it up and balanced it well. But nothing prepared me for what I saw as I raised my head. The one person whose appearance changed the course of my past life and the one person who is still fated to change the course of my present life. “Dammit!” My wolf cursed. Scarlet stood before me. Her hair was just as red as I remembered, cascading over her shoulders like fresh blood. Her eyes gleamed as they locked onto Ryder, and her lips curved into a dirty smile that made my skin crawl.

As I pulled into ThornTech’s parking lot, my phone buzzed. Ryan. I answered immediately. "Hey." "Are you sure about this?" he asked, concern in every word. "Being around them again—Seraphina? Lysander? Those two practically broke you." I smiled as I stepped out of the car. The heels felt right under me. "Ryan," I said, "I’m not Katherine anymore. I’m Scarlet Wilde. Have you forgotten?" He chuckled, a warm, familiar sound. "You sound dangerous." "I am."

She was a one-person wrecking machine. She stripped Ruth’s muzzle off, and Ruth lunged into the crowd without missing a beat. She sank her fangs into the throats of several of them, and Scarlet, overwhelmed with the need to feed, followed suit: she went from body to body, sinking her fangs into their throats and drinking with all she had. She felt their blood infusing her, and she felt alive again. But suddenly, before she could react, Scarlet felt herself covered by a silver net, once again. Her power deflated completely.

So for now I just watch as I am useless to her. I notice exactly when H gives partial control over to Wrath his hits become harder and slightly faster and his eyes get that tinge or red in them but I also notice that Scarlett's have changed slightly as well her eyes are no longer her natural colour but have both red and gold in them; I guessed her wolf and vampire have joined in the fight.
