It was like he never existed in the first place. I knew it though. I knew that the accusations they had leveled on Ryder were all fabricated. It was why i rejected him. the man said as he stepped out of the shadows. He was tall, like most dragonkin with Sire blood were, I reckoned he was in his mid-thirties or so. Ryder's voice yanked me back to the present and I blinked back into focus. “Oh, yeah. Sure,” I said absentmindedly. Ryder stared at me, his gaze searching intently that I had to force a smile to take his attention off me. He turned to the booking agent, Lydia. "What's the latest on the endorsement deals? Any new offers on the table?" Lydia smiled, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "We have a few offers on the table, and I think we can get a great deal with one of the major brands. They're willing to offer a significant amount of money for Liam's endorsement."

ASHLEY; The waitress placed our orders on the table and left quickly. I stared at the simple cheese sandwich and cold apple juice in front of me. I had barely paid any attention when he ordered for the two of us, and now the orders were here. Great choice though. Ryder had ordered something stronger, a dark drink in a tall glass, and the same cheese sandwich. He rested his thick arms on the table, leaning forward. Since he cut off the family and established this racing company and our team, he never got any help from father or the family.
