“Actually...” Zoe stirred her milk slowly, her voice dropping an octave. “It’s pathetic, sure. But not entirely impossible.”
She slanted a look at him, a faint, dangerous smile curving her lips. “If you ever dumped me, Uncle... I think I’d really die, too.”
