Years of war and battle made him cold, his enemies made him more ruthless.

I mean sure I am a demon so I should be badass awesome and do whatever it is i please and so on but thats not how it is for me. I guess the reason why I fit in so much with the humans is because I might as well be one. All the sadness and misery, the agony and suppression I feel them all as well and more so due to my heighten senses. I don’t want to live like a demon yet I won’t deny what I am. Sometimes I forget I am one.

Lysan Dusk lay on his bed, watching the crack on the ceiling as tears spilled from his eyes, his heart contracted painfully inside his chest. He tried to call for help, but his voice barely came out as a whisper. He heard voices in the next room, “He has to go, he knows too much.” More tears spilled from his eyes as he struggled to breathe. Three years ago, he killed the ruthless Demon king. He delivered humanity from suffering. He stopped the Demon king before he could unleash hell on earth, and this was how he was rewarded. By being poisoned.

El-Kharis grunted, clenching his teeth. "But this has never happened before in the history of demons. It must have something to do with the fact that she was human," Azazel, the only female present, spoke with a rigid and cold tone. She was the strongest demoness in the land, trained by the Demon God of Fire and the Queen Mother herself. "She was never truly human. She is an orb—a human orb. She is different from the others. Her heart was pure, but now it is tainted with my blood flowing through her veins," El-Kharis explained, tired of defending his mate.

"My mother... she came to me. I’ve never seen her face, not even in a painting, but I knew it was her. I wanted to ask her so many things, but she was gone before I could even open my mouth." Zayla felt a cold shiver run down her spine that had nothing to do with the wind. *This is it,* she thought, her stomach twisting. *The demon is already moving. It's playing him exactly like serenya said it would.* He turned his head slowly, his gaze heavy as it landed on her face. "You pity me, don't you?" he asked, his voice flat. "That’s why you’re doing all this. Risking your life, standing in front of whips... it’s all just because you feel sorry for the broken prince."

she cautioned and Vada quickly bow her head in apology “Because of the war that took place twenty thousand years ago, Samael has been in suffering and pains trying to find a cure, now that he found cure in this human, I should support his decision” she explained “Do you think a human could replace me? I’m the demoness of Vision” Vada nodded her head in support of her words and together they turn to the hall to watch more before returning back to the forest.

The man fell to the ground, screaming in pain while Ares just rolled his eyes and threw the eyeball on the ground and stomped on it because squatting in front of the man. He grabbed the man by the hair and lifted his head up so they were eye leveled. “I told you I don’t do second chances but you are someone I’ve known for so long so I don’t want to kill you off just like that but if you don’t find a way to get me rid of this demon the next time we meet, I won’t just be taking away your other eye but also your life. Got that?” He pushed the man to the ground as he stood up then turned to Cornelius with a groan.

Damon's pov Sunday 4th July 2021 ***************************** I don't enjoy going to see Orion but it's a necessary evil. If I stop going Marcus will kick me out of the club and then I'll have nothing that I enjoy. I enjoy hurting people. That's really the only thing that makes me happy. I'm diagnosed with a severe form of Antisocial Personality Disorder. Which means I'm a psychopath. I lack empathy and remorse which means I have no issue in manipulating people for my own gain. All Orion's words of course, I don't see how that's a bad thing, I think more people in the world should be selfish to get on top.
