It has been a week since Faith has been transferred to the safe house, and she would be lying if she would say she hates it here. When she first heard about a safe house, she thought it would be a place somewhere underground or in a bunker. She will have to live in a one-room place with a tiny bathroom and no windows. She didn’t expect the safe house to be on an island in the South, and she didn’t expect it to be a resort.

“We’re not going anywhere near it. I know a safehouse across the river. Dead zone for comms—if it wakes up again, at least it won’t be able to phone home.” --- The ride was a blur of cold wind and slick streets. The city was quieter now, the storm having washed away most of its sounds. But Mara kept glancing over her shoulder, half-expecting black SUVs to materialize from the rain-slick shadows. They reached the safehouse just before dawn. It was a squat concrete block hidden behind a warehouse, with nothing to identify it but a rusted door and a single flickering bulb. Inside was spartan—two cots, a steel table, a propane heater.

OFF THE GRID As Maya followed Raven into the building, she was struck by its simplicity. The interior was sparse, with plain walls and a single table in the center of the room. Raven gestured for Maya to sit down, and she did, her eyes scanning the room for any signs of what was going on. Echo sat down beside her, her eyes fixed intently on Raven. Raven took a deep breath, her expression serious. "This is a safehouse," she said. "A place where we can hide out for a while."

I asked wondering how he knew my name and why he was so worried. "Well I will introduce myself later come on let's get you to safety.." He said leading me to the safe house. "Take care okay be safe.." he said once I was inside then closed the door while I looked on wondering who he was. I shrugged it off going over to the big hall. the safe house was a very huge underground house that could hold over one thousand people. It was built in such a way that even if there was a massive earthquake it would never crumble.

Safehouse 3. It was a secluded, reinforced-concrete structure the military used to track contraband near Route 4. It was perfect. It was isolated, windowless, and designed to damp down electronic and thermal signatures. He took a sharp turn, bypassing the main highway checkpoint where guards might notice his gaunt appearance or the erratic rhythm of his breathing. His breathing was shallow, his lips parched. As he neared the industrial district, Elara's message suddenly pulled into his phone: Can I see you for a minute? I think I miss you and we haven't seen each other in a while.

You won't be out of the loop.” Hazel looks down, clearly struggling with the decision. “Where would I go?” “We have a safe house in the mountains.” Arnold explains. “It's secluded and well guarded. You'll be safe there.” Hazel nods slowly, still looking uncertain. “I trust you both. If you think this is best, I'll go.”

You'll be safe here until we figure out what's going on with Jayden and Claw." Marina nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She knew she was in good hands with Aiden, and that he would do everything in his power to keep her safe. As they got out of the car, Marina noticed that the cabin was surrounded by dense woods, and the only sound was the gentle rustling of leaves in the wind. It was a serene and peaceful place, far removed from the chaos and danger that had been lurking in her life.
