Chapter 26 Third POV Selene sat atop her celestial throne, bathed in the pale glow of her moon as its silver light poured through the open arches of her ethereal home. She watched the waves below, feeling their pulse as they rose and crashed against the shorelines of a distant village. The tides were erratic tonight—wild, untamable—and no matter how hard she focused, she couldn’t subdue them. Her brow furrowed in frustration as she tried once more to ease the waters, her divine power coaxing them into serenity.

He wasn't pleased by a bit, but it wasn't like he had much of a choice anyway. “We need to talk,“ Victor added as he broke the silence. He couldn't understand that he had been in a relationship with Sophie for as long as he could recall. Things were good between them, but out of the blue, she claimed Matt had been her mate. TOR POV I willingly dropped to my knees as I looked into Selene's glowing white eyes. "My Luna, please come back to me." Then everything around us went completely still. Selene's eyes flashed a viridescent green before she threw her arms aside like she was breaking free from stone. "NO!" Selene screamed, her body releasing a shockwave of energy that freed us from her spell of subjugation. Her hair flowed about her face as power permeated from her. She was glorious as she stood there, her breath heavy and shallow and her eyes glowing that brilliant green that I had grown to adore so much.

Miracle rattled the slips, checking if there were any secret papers hidden in between. But there was none. The second half of the story was gone. "C'mon... Don't do this to me. I have to know the story." Miracle pressed her fingers to her lips, murmuring lines of undefinable words that echoed softly in the dimly lit room. As she chanted, a gentle swirl of white light unfurled from her fingertips, enveloping her hand in a shimmering embrace. Silvery tendrils of smoke swirled into the room, weaving in response to her invocation. They laid atop her mark of divinity on her chest, and seconds later, the bulging veins around her reddening mark began to ease.

She sniffled, wiping the tip of her watery nose with the back of her hand. Clohe wrapped her arms around Miras' quivering body wishing she had the answers to her dilemmas. "The Moon Goddess gives her biggest battles to her strongest warriors," She found herself saying instead. "And you, Mira... You are so much more than a force to be reckoned with. I am glad that I'm by your side, witnessing the strongest Luna rise from the ground like a phoenix. It is time to say goodbye to your old life, and embrace the new one we are about to embark on."

Dorrin’s POV I still could not believe my happiness. The Moon Goddess had answered my prayers—Mira and I were fated mates. The thought alone made my chest swell, but having her in my arms, her skin against mine, was a dream I never thought would become reality. My heavy steps echoed through the palace halls as I carried her to her chambers, her soft weight pressed to me. The warmth of her bare body stirred a primal hunger deep within, an urge to claim her again and again, and from the sweet, intoxicating scent of her arousal, I knew she wanted it just as much.
