Watch Out, CEO Daddy!

Watch Out, CEO Daddy!

The smile on Sally’s face disappeared as she barked coldly. Riley came in at this moment. When she saw Sally, she immediately showed a sour face. “Isn’t this the homewrecker who stole someone’s husband? Our humble little shop doesn’t welcome homewreckers. Please leave immediately.” Sally stared at them and mocked, “You’re still friends and even working together now. What a touching friendship.” “A two-faced fake friend like you won’t be able to understand the relationship between me and Shar.” Riley’s every word was berating Sally, so of course, she could not endure it.

A real review, the story has an interesting story line, but the author is repeating silly little things to make the story longer. So if you want to waste your money, go ahead and read it. But if not, then hopefully the author will see this and stop repeating things on her stories. make them short!!!

The Face of Revenge

The Face of Revenge

Elise wasn't even looking at me—just fiddling with her fingers like they held secrets, blush dusting her cheeks. "I wanted to take a picture of it," she said quietly. "With my Polaroid cam. Keep the photo in my album, and press a petal next to it... to keep as a memory." My heart did this strange, uneven lurch. I couldn't stop staring. She wasn't trying to be poetic—it just was. "And the rest…" she added, still not looking up, "maybe I'd turn into a soap bar. Or a scented candle." I let out a breath of a chuckle, stunned and grinning. "That's new. Most people I know just get their bouquets preserved in glass or something."

A Face For A Face

A Face For A Face

On the anniversary of Andy’s death, I was finally allowed to remove the bandages. Suzanne carefully unwrapped them layer by layer before handing me a mirror. My hands wouldn’t stop trembling. However, under everyone’s quiet encouragement, I took a deep breath and slowly reached for it. After six long years, I saw my own face again and broke down crying. Suzanne pulled out a handkerchief and wiped my tears gently. “Don’t cry. You just recovered.” Then, from behind her, she brought out a bouquet of flowers.

The Seven Faces of Death

The Seven Faces of Death

“You ok?” “Yeah. I just wanted to get a present for Russell.” “Giant cookie? Great gift idea. Nothing says ‘Proud of you’ like a cookie bigger than your head.” “Yeah. Well, I better go. We’re planning the event for my book launch.” “Last in the series, right? We finally find out what happened to Emily’s mother?” “Maybe. Felicity’s Books is doing preorders by the way. All signed.” “Already placed my order.”

The Art of Jessica Jane

The Art of Jessica Jane

Over the next few weeks, Jessica kept drawing the smile. Not the same picture. Different ones. Different sketches. Different people. But somehow it kept appearing. Small smiles. Quiet smiles. Half smiles. The kind that almost looked accidental. At first she didn't notice. Then one afternoon she was sitting in the art studio flipping through pages of her sketchbook when she suddenly stopped. Page after page stared back at her. Faces. Eyes. Expressions. People. And there they were. Smiles.

The face of the past

The face of the past

Raven felt proud of his face meanwhile Kai doesn't care. Kai grinned at himself in victory. There was a short haired lady seated on the teacher's table, writing something. There was no one else but her. A single knock on the door caught Liana's attention. It caught her dumbfounded as her eyes met Kai's. Confusion and shock hit Liana in a flash. Her number one question is why is he there? It has been a week since she saw that face. She almost even forgot about what happened. She didn't know how she walked herself in front of a grinning Kai. Her feet just brought themselves to him.

In The Face of Death

In The Face of Death

“Ma’am, we can show you a photo first, so you can confirm whether it’s your daughter. It’s just… when we found her, she had been dead for three days, and the body had started to decompose. You should prepare yourself.” With that, he pulled out a photo from the scene and handed it to her. In the picture, a small, blood-soaked body—mine—was curled up on the bed in an unnatural position. My colorless lips and my sickly, bluish-purple skin told her one thing: I was dead. Mom’s eyes widened. At last, she could no longer lie to herself and burst into tears. “How could this happen? How could this be? She was fine just a few days ago. How could she be dead? Daisy, you cursed child, you’re just like

Why are you unhappy?

Why are you unhappy?

Anne Jenner focused on her phone, so she was startled, raised her head and saw the corner of Sally's lips upturned, very close to her, she backed away a little. "What do you do?" Sally frowned: "Your lips are so beautiful." His eyes fell on her plump red lips. "Ah, so do you." Anne Jenner was neither salty nor pale. Sally's appearance is also handsome, beautiful in the style of fluttering cauliflower, long narrow eyes, maybe because of her smile, she doesn't have an overwhelming aura. Unlike Edward Mitchell, it's okay if you don't smile, but every time you smile, you feel very distant, but your body always carries an immeasurable depth..

Dear Alpha, You Are Not My Type!

Dear Alpha, You Are Not My Type!

A long agonizing laughter followed. “I see you are still as smart as you used to be,” she said and I spotted her shadow just in front of me. “I only make the paintings, Raven. But the ones after you are still out there.” “Then why sell the paintings? How do you know you won't just sell it to the wrong person?” I asked her. Sally stepped forward, emerging from the mist, her face barely illuminated by the eerie green glow around us. Her smirk was unsettling, her eyes glinting with something between amusement and warning.

Dangerous Pleasures

Dangerous Pleasures

"This is the start. I know it doesn't look like anything yet, but it will." I could almost see the vague outline of a human face. "So just my disembodied head, then. Neat." Taylor smirked at me. "Maybe for this one. I've never done a face this size before, so it's a trial. What I really want is this. She flipped back to the beginning of the sketch book, to a drawing of a faceless woman floating above the ground, her arms thrown back, her gown loose and rippling in the wind. "I've always wanted to do this. I mean big, set on a hill overlooking the ocean, something like that. I never knew what the face should look like though. I do now."
