she asked sharply. Dudz stopped laughing, finally answering her question. “Samantha is gay. His real name is Samuel. We used to play on the same basketball team back in college. He came out after we graduated. My God, Rosenda Marie, you’re jealous of someone who’s bulkier than I am.” She scowled—but only to mask the sudden relief washing over her. “Why the hell would he save the name as Samantha in his phone…” she muttered under her breath.

"Now, what were you going to say?" Sam stirred his drink slowly then leaned forward. "I went to Darla's office earlier." I raised my brows, feigning surprise. "Really? Why?" He watched me with intensity, his eyes narrowing as if attempting to peel back my mind. "She didn't tell you? I kept a stone face and lied with abandon. "She doesn't tell me everything." Sam clicked his tongue, his head shaking in mock sympathy. "That's unfortunate." He sipped from his glass before going on, "I fixed Darla up with a business contact. Someone real. Someone big."

I point at Cassandra, “then threw me into the woods to die. Now you want me back because I returned with power?” Damon’s golden eyes looked pained. He spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. “I was wrong. Cassandra lied to me. She fed me stories about threats to the pack. I let pride and fear control me. I take back the rejection. Annie is not an Omega. She is my true mate.” Gasps spread through the crowd. Scarlett smiled through tears. Cassandra looked ready to kill. I turned to Kael. “You found me when I was broken. You gave me safety and pups. But you left me alone in that cave. You marked me without asking.”

"No one cares anyway, so what's the point of quitting?" Timothy raised an eyebrow, catching Sam's drift. "Did you get dumped by a woman?" Who knew him better than his own father? Sam stayed silent. "Ha, did you really get dumped? Interesting," Timothy added. "Don't just talk about me. You're not any better." Sam chuckled. Who didn't know how to be sarcastic? Timothy's expression darkened. "I don't know what you're talking about." Sam continued, "You rushed from Skydale to Lumberville in one night. Did you burn out the accelerator? How many red lights did you run? You must have gotten so many fines, right?"

Fuck, he was dangerous, and if I continued to stay here I wasn’t going to be able to control myself. "I have a strange man trying to convince me to have a drink with him." I pointed out, trying to pretend to be unbothered. "Would any woman who was alone be alright after that?" Frowning, the man considered my words, but quickly bounced back. "I’m Silas," he smirked. "Now that you have a name, I’m not so strange, right?" Not so strange? Narrowing my gaze, I just remained silent. Dammit, he was a persistent bastard.

Sierra pov. As I sat on the bed, the door slowly opened, and Dean walked in, carrying a comforting bottle of soft drink. His gentle smile brightened my day as he handed it to me. I whispered my gratitude, feeling a sense of warmth and comfort. I still carried William's child inside me, and it made me realize that this chapter of my life wasn't entirely closed. Yes, I did feel guilty about considering letting go of my child, but I was beginning to see a future without a connection to William.

"SAMMI!" My eyes snapped open in shock, catching the fury that had overtaken Sam's features. He looked over his shoulder momentarily, then back at me. "That was a fucking pleasure. Let me just murder my brother and then I will be back with you. Keep the bed warm for me." Sam whispered before finally letting me go. His hand slipped away from my mouth, and his arm, which had held me captive, relaxed its grip. I could finally breathe and stared at the demon getting up. He looked down at his hard erection and sighed deeply.

Tessa sighs, like this whole drama is the worst inconvenience in the world. “Fine. Dead. Buried. He doesn’t exist. He probably has a small dick anyway.” Delilah narrows her eyes at us, her gaze landing squarely on Sam. “That includes you.” Sam raises his hands in surrender. “The man is dead to me,” he says solemnly, though the corner of his mouth twitches. Delilah finally exhales, visibly relaxing. “I can still look, though,” Sam adds mischievously, wiggling his eyebrows. His giggle soon escalates into full-blown laughter as Delilah lunges at him with a warning smack.

She giggled again, "Both please, Mr. Boss." I poured a glass of white for myself and sat down. I said, "I want you to know that right now you are my good luck charm. I'm a salesman and today I made more sales than I've made in the last three weeks, which means one fat commission check a few weeks from now. So we're celebrating with good wine and steaks. "My name is Sam. I'm twenty-four; never married, but close twice before I got smart; I'm six-feet tall and tend to get fat when I don't work out in the gym. I barely got through college because I never saw a party I didn't like.

“I don’t understand what you’re talking about.” Luna lowered her head, paying attention to wiping the dust off her table as she raised her lips in a smile. “Samson Matthews. From the day you interviewed for this position I knew Samson Matthews was a fake name. Your real name is Mo Sam. The man who bought it grew up abroad and bought my design draft with a high price, then paraded around as a genius designer.” Samson paused, then laughed, “So you know everything. Why didn’t you expose me earlier?”
