LYDIA’S P.O.V. “Turn off the sun,” I groaned, rolling to the side and up against a warm body. It was smaller than I would have liked, and way too feminine for my liking. “Jesus! Do you have a bullhorn or something?” Charlotte said, and I cracked one eye open to see her sprawled out on top of the blanket. The smell of death wafting from her made me cringe, and I shoved my face into the pillow before realizing the smell was my own breath.

They were sitting alone for the first time except for the driver. "It's a pleasure meeting you." Ethan stretched out his hand and without a word, Charlotte shook his hand and they drove away. Charlotte turned her eyes to the screen of her phone and wrote, "Hi Mrs. Stella, I have been waiting for your message. I hope you didn't trick me into this marriage. What should I do? We are on our way to a place I don't know and I don't want to ask him." A few minutes later, a message entered Charlotte's phone. She read the message and smiled at herself. Then she suddenly put her right hand below her belly and squeezed her face in pain.

"Will you marry me, Charlie?" I looked into his deep blue eyes. My heart skipped a beat as I watched him get down on one knee and present a daisy before me.
