Brianna stood before the window while thinking about the conversation Satan was having with his inner self. Before this, no one told her about Satan's personality disorder. Now, thinking back to the time she met Satan, he always acted like a different person when he was angry. She was interrupted by the low creek of the bedroom door. Brianna turned around to see the intruder. When her eyes fell on her doom, her body trembled in fear. Her hands instinctively covered her stomach.

But that’s not all. A shadow splits from the utter darkness at the slightest wave of light and crawls onto Meph’s wrist in a utter surreal way when he touches the lock. No movement of any light in the little room could cause this shadow. And it won’t appear, unless his fingers touch the lock. And the moment it crawls onto Meph’s wrist, it shakes off the shackles of light and tangles itself around his wrist, a tiny snake head forms into shape as it bites its own tail. Staring at the slim, pitch-black shadow on his wrist, Meph is struggling between opening the lock and dodging this mysterious, weightless, harmless-looking shadow.

Its lips curled back in a feral sneer. “Outsiders,” it hissed, its voice deep and gravelly. “You trespass on the sacred lands of the Sand people.” The emperor hesitantly stepped forward, his hand instinctively going to the hilt of his sword. “We don’t want any trouble,” he said, his voice steady though his mind raced. “We just need to pass through.” The Sandman laughed, a sound like stones grinding together. “There is no passing through. Not without a price.”

his voice jerked me back to reality. "hmm can I get your order"I said trying to sound confident, his voice sent me to planet zecury,I don't even know if it exists. "Two pot pies and one smoothie" he said back, with his eyes fixed on me. For the first time I saw genuine admiration and not the usual look of lust I was used to.

She hugged him tightly and whispered in his ear, "I love you, Samuel. You're my everything." But then, the dream turned into a nightmare. She heard a loud growl and saw blood splatter on Samuel's chest. He gasped and fell to the ground, clutching his heart. Bianca screamed and dropped to her knees, cradling his head in her lap. She looked around and saw a black giant wolf running away, leaving behind a scene of chaos and horror. She sobbed and shook Samuel, begging him to wake up. But he was gone. He was gone forever.

Before he recovered he’d read all three books twice over and had become an irredeemable horror fan. After that, Sam spent every penny he had on DVDs, novels, and back issues of Fangoria, the more extreme the better. Horror gave him a place to put all his anxieties and fears, as well as a way to control and exorcise them. He lost his nervous tics, stopped getting bullied and took up running when he moved to his senior school. He never joined the popular crowd, but he managed to survive boarding school, and whenever things got a bit much, there was always horror.

I turned and saw Harmony halfway up the ladder to my bed, half of her body crawling under my mosquito net. Her expression was grotesquely exaggerated, filled with fear as she stared at me. I let out a terrified scream and jumped upright from my bed in shock. The following scream came from Harmony, louder than mine, and then there was a crash as she fell off my bed, landing hard on the floor.
