Sao Laughing Coffin Novels & Stories

At the same time, inside a coffin made out of golden-silk phoebe wood in the bar’s warehouse… When Xyla made a noise with her prayer wheel, someone exhaling could be heard. Soon after, a horrifying aura seeped out. A loud bang came, and the coffin was pushed open from the inside. From inside, a scrawny-looking elderly man in a yellow robe sat up. He had sluggish eyes, and the corner of his mouth was slightly rotting; he looked like a walking corpse.

my eyes landed on a small inscription on the coffin. I quickly squat and then I read the inscription slowly. Since the coffin seems to be old I find it difficult.... but still I read something that seems more like... Forcing my eyes to read in the dark, I finally picture the statement which says M-A-T-E! "Mate?" I uttered out, not knowing what was ahead of me. The coffin automatically opens on its own, and a skeleton jumps out of it, as it places its mouth on my neck, and suck my blood.

Salvador breathed through his mouth in an attempt to calm his racing heart. "What is that?" Jeff jumped behind Wei pointing at the funny black object that came out with his teammates. "The fuck." Emma cursed. "Is that what I think it is." Luna narrowed her eyes at the coffin. Shock written all over her face. "Well. It is what it is." Ten shrugged. "Why the fuck in hell did you guys dig up a corpse?" Allyssa pointed at them accusingly. "We didn't." Ten scowled back. "It's the source of the noise." Salvador curtly explained.

If the Council ever tried to bind my hands after this display, they'd be in for an unfortunate surprise. The more I spoke, the more the already rickety shelves shook and vibrated. Keeping my composure at the sight of the heads already bouncing around their jars and smacking into the glass, I changed the pitch of my words. Smoke spilled into each transparent prison, thick and coloured bright crimson. I didn't stop until each jar was filled to the brim with cloying plumes of fog. It wasn't long before the shouting and screaming arose. "What have you done to us?"

We have all laughed at the coffin dance meme one time or another. Well, we have laughed at it and the skits that have been connected with it. Even I am guilty of such actions. Not that death is anything to laugh at... And on that note, here are some experiences about coffins that will make you run away, instead of dance. Enjoy! ++++++++++++

I had four days left before the poison consumed my organs entirely. All I wanted was to spend whatever time I had left with the woman I loved, but I could not reach her. The next day, I learned that Enzo Marchetti, the first love she had never forgotten, had returned from overseas. "Let's get divorced. The love of my life is back." I clutched my chest as a searing pain tore through it. "I'm at the family hospital. I've been poisoned. The doctors won't let me leave.” Her voice turned sharp and cruel. "I don't care if you're poisoned or dying. Even if you drop dead the next second, you need to come back and sign the papers." The last trace of warmth inside me went cold. I answered calmly,

The coffin lid, weighing tens of thousands of pounds, began to shift with creaking sounds. Then, two sharp, slender fingers like iron hooks suddenly emerged from the shifting gap. They gripped the edge of the coffin and pushed forcefully. The coffin lid was thus shoved open, revealing the tremendous strength that lay behind it. A withered skeleton sat up from within the coffin, and two orbs of red light ignited in its eye sockets. A hoarse, grating voice that made one's scalp tingle squeezed out from its mouth like air through cracks. "You audacious human! I will find you, drain your blood dry, and tear your brain from your skull!"

"Thankfully, Mr. Zandro's prediction was right. The challenges were things Jean and I could handle. Otherwise, we'd have been in serious trouble." Kenneth's face broke into a slight smile as he surveyed what lay ahead. "Looks like we've reached the main burial chamber." Hearing this, the twins quickly looked forward, their eyes lighting up with excitement. Where they stood was a spacious area with numerous round stone pillars seemingly supporting the entire space. In the center sat an enormous black coffin. "It's huge!" Both Leah and Jean were astounded. Judging by its size, the coffin could easily fit three people with room to spare.

A wave of tension passed through the onlookers. "This is the moment of truth," Evander said. Elena could not hold back her sobs any longer. She covered her mouth, tears streaming down her face. The memory of that terrible day came flooding back, shattering her heart as if it had all just happened. "Open the coffin," Alistair ordered again. One of the gardeners pried at the lid with a crowbar. It was difficult, the wood seemingly sealed shut by years buried in the red soil. Then, the coffin was open. Slowly, they all looked inside.

“He believed they should leave behind truth.” She pointed toward the nearest coffin. “Each one protects a final confession.” Isaac slowly approached the blank coffin. His fingertips brushed the aged oak. “I helped build these.” Alexander looked at him. “You built coffins?” Isaac smiled sadly. “No.” “We built vaults shaped like coffins.” “To remind ourselves that every secret should eventually be buried.” A sharp metallic click echoed through the chamber. The blank coffin unlocked itself. Its lid rose slowly. Everyone instinctively stepped back. Inside…
