This is not how the story ends!” “The story is leaking into the real world!” Maya yelled, as the sky groaned louder. “Julian—get to the building, now!”

Sarah says, motioning to the impressive, homey space that she had built for visitors. She always intended to have more packs come for longer. Making those connections is important to her. So, I decide I’ll support that no matter what form that takes. “It looks absolutely charming,” Azar says. “Much like our hostess.” He smiles a warm smile at Sarah who thanks him like he wasn’t just flirting with her. Can’t she see it? Or is it all in my head? Am I going crazy? “Why don’t you get some rest,” Sarah suggests. “I’m sure your days of travel have been hard on you. Are you hungry?”

Sarah That’s it. I was dead. In a matter of minutes, I think I’d experienced every emotion possible. I’d gone from lonely, to horny, to happy, to hurt, to euphoric and now…dread. I’d done it again. She was a monster who had been watching me bleed for years, waiting for the highest price. "You always were too soft, Nyxara!" Sarah yelled. "You thought Draven was the one you should fear? He’s just a boy. The Alliance is a god!"

Faith moved like a ghost, navigating the demands with practiced precision. She handed the blazer to her aunt, a woman whose beauty was a sharp mask for her cruelty. Sarah looked at Faith, her eyes narrowing as she took in the girl’s face. Faith was really beautiful. She had high cheekbones, deep, soulful eyes, and skin that looked like it was lit from within, despite the lack of sleep.

She smiled—a shark’s grin, softened by a teacher’s grace. "The Debt is never settled," Hope whispered, her fingers hovering over the keyboard. "Because the Interest is called Adventure." She hit 'Send.' Outside, the New York sky began to shimmer with a familiar, black-glass light. The "System" wasn't returning to destroy. It was returning to Invite. A new title appeared on every screen in the world, scrolling in a font made of starlight: "BOOK TWO: THE MARS AUDIT. PROTAGONIST: HOPE THORNE-VANCE. STATUS: INITIALIZING..."

******* Hello Dear Readers, This is the final chapter of the story, a happy ending for Charles and Sarah. I’m so glad you’re here for me and give it a try. It's hard to say goodbye to the characters and stories I created after drawing a full plot storyline. I feel happy and sad at the same, but I really should let Sarah enjoy her happiness, as some of you commented. She deserves it. Anyway, thank you all for loving it.
