The kind of sound that curled low in my stomach and made my wolf perk up like, Yes hello, can we have more of that noise please?

But he asked with a deep and raspy voice, and his eyes held such hunger that made me want to be his meal; a meal he could spend hours after hours devouring. …so I shook my head. “No.” And he gave me his hot menacing smirk as he spreads my legs apart. The smirk... I didn't need a translator to know it means ‘I’m gonna wreck you, and you know it.’

“Gorgeous, that is not a problem as it’s all of our favorite tea as well.” Giving Gavin the credit for smiling is something of an inner joke. He doesn’t smile. Not in the average description of both ends of your mouth turning up into a smile. He more…smirks. Only one side of his mouth turns up. I think we’d all hit the ground if he were to give a full smile. He was born smirking and that’s all he’s ever done. Even his parents back that up.

I mused to myself, a triumphant smile onmy faces. As the argument between Charlotte and Dylan escalated, reaching a crescendo of emotions, I made my presence known with a calculated smirk. Stepping closer to the unfolding drama, I delivered my words with finality. "Sorry, Charlotte, but it's time for you to get the hell out of our lives," I declared, my voice laced with a hint of satisfaction as I asserted my newfound position in the tumultuous dynamics at play. The smirk on my face betrayed triumph, a feeling of empowerment that came from seizing control of the situation and asserting my influence.

Albin lashed out. "Is that a way of begging for my suggestion?" I sarcastically said with a travesty smile playing on my lips. "Never will I do that!" He screeched, widening my smirk. "But you just did," I winked at him, outraging him. "Never! Or you don't have any suitable plan?" He poked fun at me but I shrugged ignoring him.

To be honest, he was quite good-looking, and he also looked young but the weird smirk that he had on his face made him look like the joker. As I thought of his resemblance to the fictional character, I had the sudden urge to burst into a peal of laughter and I did. I laughed so hard that I felt tears rolling down my cheeks as I stupidly pointed at the man whose smirk had dissipated. In place of the smirk, he now had an annoyed expression glued to his face. I came down from my crazy laughing bout as I cleaned my tears with my thumb, and directed a gaze at the man. "Care to enlighten me about the cause of your amusement?" He asked, his vexed countenance dissipating.

I feel instantly sick with the wave of change that happens so obviously. He closes down all hints of emotion and that blank face takes on an eerie smugness. He smirks, rubs his thumb deliberately and slowly over his lip where the bottom of my palm caught him and looks at me in the most wrathful way I have ever seen on any face in my whole life. Cold, sinister and calm. His calculating brain devising a plot to make me suffer. I swear that’s what I summarise in that expression.

I narrowed my eyes as I shot him a sarcastic smile, “You really love seeing me annoyed, huh?” He chuckled, shaking his head with a grin, “You really are something, Kathrina.” “Yeah, you bring out the annoyance in me,” I uttered sarcastically, putting up air quotes in annoyance for emphasis. “Okay, sorry. Sorry.” I couldn’t help but roll my eyes again—he was still laughing, and I don’t even know why he finds me being annoyed funny! The last time I checked, I look pretty scary when I’m annoyed. Plus, he was just purposely doing it, it was definitely pissing me off.

He looks over at me with a smirk, accepting the job. The smirk leaves his face and is replaced by a frown. "If any shit gets on me, I kill the human that the shit belongs to." He says causing me to frown. He let out a chuckle putting his hands up. "I'm joking...again." He says looking backing into the bathroom and let out another sigh. "I guess I'll get to work. I can't be slacking around when you're trying to run a legitimate business here." He says sarcastically, letting out another low chuckle with a smirk.

She gently laughed. “Then why did you follow me here?” she sarcastically said and gave me a teasing smile. I sarcastically laughed. “Are you dumb? I just said I'm here to warn you,” I sarcastically said and smiled. I saw how her jaw tightened and how pissed her expression was. It made me smile more. She irritably stood up and crossed her arms in front of me. I raised my right eyebrow while looking at her, challenging her, just like how she looked at me now.
