I looked at Zachary, who was kneeling so straight, and pulled my gaze back.
Not long after my friend returned, thunder rumbled outside, and heavy rain began to fall.
Someone muttered, "It's raining outside. That guy is still kneeling there."
I stayed quiet, and the voice died as well.
It wasn't until the gathering ended and everyone left that I told someone to bring Zachary inside.
