Scared Eyes

I am a miserable nurse. During the Halloween season, there was a three day break but I was not given any days off. Upset, I decided to join a game featuring a haunted hospital. There was an old man wrapped in IV tubes chasing after a player. I sprinted forward and shoved him into the chair. After effortlessly jabbing the IV line back in him, I told him off, "It’s just an IV drip. Quit moving around! Do you think you’re in some kind of movie pulling a stunt like that? If you keep moving around, I’ll strap you to the chair!" The old man did a double take before blinking in a flustered manner. "Sorry for causing you trouble, ma'am." At night, children ghosts began to run and laugh wildly in the corridor. I seized each child's hand. "If you’re not going to stay put in the ward, I’ll give you an injection!" Why did I still have to work in a game? I was so tired. The other players cried out, "Clem! That's a ghost. Are you not scared?" I sneered, "Oh, sorry. We wage slaves carry more resentment than any ghost."

A soft gasp escaped her lips when Tobias’ hand slipped into her gown and caught one breast. My physics teacher held up my test paper with an 18-point score in front of all the students and parents and said, “Students like this are hopeless. I don’t even know how someone like this passed the high school entrance exam. “I didn’t think there was a way to cheat on the high school entrance exam, but it turns out there is. How did it turn into us being a junk-collecting family?! “You can’t even teach properly, and I haven’t called you out for it! Have you no shame?! You don’t deserve to be called a teacher! You’re just a piece of trash!” For some reason, she suddenly seemed imposing and heroic to me.

Mateo Williams, the second main character works for Noah but joins in a secret agency which works under Amelia, later gets appointed as her bodyguard because of her parent's sake as they were scared of losing her because Amelia wins a challenge which was given by Noah and he suddenly vanishes somewhere. Amelia falls in love with him but Mateo doesn't care about her feelings at first and then he gets into a secret relationship with her. After getting to know this, Noah searches information about him and reveals to her that he was cheating on her with her sister and concludes that he was in love with her since they first met as enemies. He explains that he behaved like her rival just to protect her from his family who wanted to destroy her so he takes the charge and never tried to kill her. Amelia understands him and they end up together but before they could react for how Mateo betrayed her, he escaped from her.
