Scarlet Demon Novels & Stories

Demons, but not the kind that mattered, these were the lowborn filth that crawled from the rifts between the worlds, they were scavengers that fed on the dead. My mind seemed to have the knowledge of what these creatures were before I could process, I wonder if it is because I am still connected to Kael. The demons were staring right at me as one of them lunged. "Run!" Liam shouted as he raised his gun and fired the first shot. The bullet split open the demon's skull in a spray of black blood. John pulled Mary and Lilac behind a wrecked truck while Scarlet fired into the group of demons, her aim sharp despite her shaking hands. I stayed frozen for a heartbeat with my pulse hammering in my ea

His mind had slowly unraveled in the tormenting void of nothingness. She had ensured it. The room had no windows, no indication of day or night, just an eerie, suffocating abyss. The only sounds Damien had known were his own ragged breathing and the occasional distant footsteps that kept him on edge. The henchmen had followed Scarlet's orders precisely, feeding him just enough to keep him alive but starving him of everything else: human contact, hope, sanity. Now, he was ripe for breaking. Scarlet’s cold gaze never wavered as she studied him. She was dressed in a fitted black blouse and leather glove, an embodiment of calculated dominance. Leaning forward slightly, she let the silence stretc

Once Sara caught up to him in the hallway of the hospital, Jack asked, “you didn’t stop me. Did you figure something out?” “Somewhat. The demon went after them shortly after they finished the quest. Claiming to be investigating a blood relation to them. Which means that the demon was informed by someone regarding the girl’s possible origin.” “Yes, in other words the demon has a connection to the Scarlett soldier they encountered. And in another word, they are being targeted by Scarletts.” “What now?” Sara asked. “I’m not sure. You’ve fought the demon, right? How strong was it?” “If it was actually trying to kill me, I might’ve died.”

Finally bold enough, I asked, "Could you check?" The demon even jerked his head, then laughed. Have you ever heard a demon's laughter? Do you think it's scary? It's no scarier than a storm, or lighting, or a hurricane. It sounds wild, and furious, and mad, and fiery, yet oh so beautiful. The room suddenly became chilly. Smoke swirled in the corners of the pentagram, and Martha grew even paler. She was afraid I wouldn't be able to hold the demon back-or that I wouldn't be able to hold myself back from stepping toward him. I wasn't going to do that, however. I knew all too well you weren't supposed to trust demons.

Maddie fluttered her eyes innocently. "Not happening," Bryce shook his head. "Rats." The girl cussed under her breath and pouted. "Maddie, could you step a few feet back?" Scarlett rasped out quietly. "Huh? Why?" "Scarlett's an awakened Omega Vampire, so she's trying so hard not to have you as a midnight snack right now," Shawn exclaimed just as he walked back to the house porch and delicately placed Scarlett to sit down. The blue-eyed girl may have regained control for the time being but the smell of three pure blood mortals in her presence wasn't helping her. Dorian's blood type was an O, she could smell it from where she stood. She's tasted O-type from the blood packets given to her, clai

The weapons glowed with strange symbols. "What–" Maddie began but started to cough. Smoke had filled the room. The burning demon was still running around the diner. The other three demons were crouched, and growling like rabid dogs, their saucerlike eyes glowing with a manic light. One of them let out a loud howl like a wolf and pounced towards Cassie. She screamed and there was a sudden hot burst of light as the sword in her hand blazed up. Cassie leaped forward, sweeping her weapon at the demon, her skirt billowing behind her. In the light of the Celestial Blade, the demon’s appearance was unpleasantly visible: black, scaly skin, a gaping black hole for a mouth, bulging, orblike eyes, and

Once the meeting was over, Scarlett dismissed the others and retreated to her father's study. Closing the door behind her, she let out a deep breath and slumped into the plush leather chair behind the desk, feeling the weight of the world on her shoulders. She couldn't afford to let anyone see her weakness, not now that she was in charge. Just as she was about to pour herself a drink, the door creaked open and a man entered slowly, his form looming over hers like an eclipse. Scarlett froze. She recognized him instantly - The Lord's most trusted hitman, Romero Alvarez. They had been in an altercation some hours ago. She watched as his eyes bore down on her, dark and intense.

His mind was focused, and his wolf, Theo, was losing it. Where is she? His wolf kept growling. It’s been three days. I need to see her. We need to see her. When the mind-link flickered, Dante opened his eyes and dropped the block. Caleb’s excited voice blasted into his head. “You’re going to want to hear this!” Dante sighed. “Speak slowly. Your voice is grating.” “Remember the dead she-wolf with the tar coal mark?” “Yes. And?” “The Crystal Lake warriors caught two demons. One of them had a pouch of deep blue tar coal, only found in the Demon Kingdom. Alpha Taron reported it this morning.”

right there, in the middle of the library like a five-year-old demon denied a candy. Scarlet’s eyes widened. “What the hell are you doing?” she hissed. The librarian’s glasses flashed. She stormed over. “SHHHHHHHH!” She was ready to scold until she saw his face. Alpha. Ronan. Her entire soul backflipped. She backed up like she just saw a literal demon take form. She swallowed back every complaint and retreated to her desk like she’d never existed. Mira blinked rapidly. Scarlet inhaled sharply. Fine. Scarlet stood, grabbed her books, and leaned to Mira, whispering, “I’ll be right back.”

I stared at him while waiting for an answer. “It’s a Demon’s symbol.” My eyes furrowed at what he said. I stared at his eyes but he seems serious! But what? Demon’s symbol? I don’t understand. “D-Demon?” I stammered. He nodded and looked away. He’s now back on staring at the glass wall. I shook my head in disagreement. “Are you kidding me? There’s no such thing about Demons! I am finding the murderer and-“ “It’s always been the Demon’s fault, Majesty. They are just using the people to do bad things but it’s always been their idea to hurt and kill someone.” He said while staring at the glass wall. I am even more confuse now.
