The forest was alive with tension, a stark contrast to the stillness that once surrounded it. Growls and howls echoed in the night, accompanied by the sounds of snapping jaws and tearing flesh. The war between the two packs raged like a storm, its ferocity shaking the quiet town of Scottsdale to its core. Damien Ferns, the Alpha of the Lycan Shadow Pack keeps on glaring at Caleb.

Using her experience as a battle nurse, she found the cause. Teagan was struck by Wolfsbane. She gave him first-aid care before the doctor arrived. The doctor treated Teagan and he was completely healed. It was time to brace myself. I remembered the long-time prophecy. The witch's voice echoed in my ears. "There will be an internal war within the Crescent Moon Pack. It will begin when your son gets struck by wolfsbane. The war will go on for many years, lives will be lost. The echo of the spectral figure’s final decree still reverberated through the ruined courtyard of the Lunar Keep as Selene stood, trembling, above a chasm of crimson energy. The ground had split open beneath her feet, releasing a torrent of blood-red light that painted the shattered stone in hues of despair and determination. Around her, the remnants of battle lay scattered like broken dreams, but in that chaos, something in Selene had shifted irrevocably.

This was her way of communicating with the Oracle's. She danced and danced with white clothings that were sweeping the floor until she fell and in a blink of an eye, all of the candleligts went off. Lunar tattoos began to glow and each werewolf identified with the other that carried their same symbolic markings. Howls could be heard as the werewolves that had chosen mates connected to their partners. It lasted on and on for a while till it stopped and the candleligts came back on.
