Listening to Marilyn's frightened scream Xavier felt his heart sink in his chest and his brain spin in lightning speed, this was a new feeling for him , he was worried, he was scared ..... scared for someone else for the first time in his life, his mind wanders thousands of scenarios of what could be happening behind this closed door and none of them had anything positivity in them...... before he could understand anything, his body worked on it's own and he found him breaking the door and burst in that room.

Close enough that the fine hairs near my hairline stand up. He’s right behind me. I don’t turn around. I can’t. My damn heart is trying to beat its way through my spine. Then— A low voice at my ear. So close his lips probably brush the air right next to my skin. “Does it scare you?”

Even being this close is driving my nerves to their untimely end. Can I keep calm and not scare her?

“You—” He smirked and shook his head, cutting her off. He took slow measured steps to where she stood, he seemed to sway, like his legs couldn’t hold him up but Rain wouldn’t let her eyes deceive her. She took steps backwards as well, the more he came closer to her, she tried her best to distance herself. It was an action she couldn’t help, the man looked scary, deadly...She couldn’t take her eyes off him...Off that curl of his lips but yet she feared being in close proximity with him.

Scar cries so hard that her voice becomes hoarse, only to freeze in shock when she watched a food land brutally on Sebastian’s hand holding the bat. “Stop It!” Scar bursts into a frantic shout, “I’ll kill you! I’ll fucking kill you!” The driver laughs at her: “Kill us? Is death the worst threat you can throw, little girl? Is that what you fear the most? There are much more you should be afraid of.” Scar shakes her head, sliding down against the door as desperation grabs her. Her whole world filled with the sound of punches, kicks, and the suppressed groan of the man who is keeping up a safe little fortress for her.

His muscular wolf frame oozes out power, his gray hair and scars that adorn his face and body, are a testament to the battles he has fought and won. His presence alone fills me with a primal fear, as if I have stumbled upon a predator in the midst of its hunt. As he closes the distance between us, each step knowing and resolute, my body freezes in place. The fear that courses through my veins paralyzes me, making me incapable of rational thought. I can feel the tremors coursing through my limbs, my muscles betraying me in the face of this scary person.

He didn’t want her to look up at him like that, as though he was the only one who could protect her. “I could kill you anyway,” he hissed, but his hand loosened and dropped to her collarbone. Scar shivered again, her pupils dilating. Was she… turned on by the threat? But no… their bodies were so very close. Her breasts brushed against his chest. Was this arousal or fear? “I don’t think you will,” Scar blurted. “I don’t think you’ll hurt me. You don’t seem like that sort of a person.”

Ethan hopped on behind her holding her waist. “What the fuck,get off my bike” She said, “Just drive,else you badly want to die in my arms” Scar hissed as she drove into the night. They weaved past cars, Ethan resting completely against her,his hands wrapped around her waist,his nose at the crook of her neck. “What the fuck,you got no shame” Scar said feeling uncomfortable with the closeness. “I've missed you” “You were fucking Cindy, liar” “I wasn't” A bullet whizzed past them.

It’s Anthony Scarfo. The world seems to slow down into a terrifying, frame-by-frame nightmare. My vision blurs with pure fear, and I nearly trip over the hem of my own dress as I violently tear my eyes away, laser-focusing on the empty seat next to Julian. I sprint the last few steps, dropping into the cushion as if it’s a life raft.
