Jay hissed. “There’s not a thing in this world that I actually care about.” Monster appeared indifferent. “Is that so? What about your daughter?” Jay sat up straight. His profound pupils were locked onto Monster’s eyes. Monster’s smile froze slightly. “I don’t have a daughter.” He suddenly roared like thunder. Jay curled his lips. “Why are you getting stirred up?” He crossed his legs again, calmly admiring Monster’s current ugly state. Monster realized that he had lost his temper and forced himself to calm down. However, he could not help but ask, “Is Lil Thirteen dead or alive?”

Maybe the thought that my only shield and source of protection would leave me alone was such a scary thing. "Don't worry, monster subjugation usually doesn't take too long. I'll be back before you know it," he gave me a reassuring smile. Why did he make it sound like killing monsters was the easiest thing to do in the world? Was it because he was the male lead? “What the fuck was that?” Joel said in disbelief, “What the fuck was that thing?” he shouted the second time. Goose bumps were all over his body and he was physically shaking. Zara was still frozen, her eyes fixed on the head of Beta Fen, the look of suspended horror on the dead face had her spellbound. Joel was shaking his head, everything about taking Zara out was forgotten, right now, he wanted nothing more but the safety of his pack, he was scared to death.

I want to run over to Sky, to get him away from whatever monster who's trying to harm him, or is it me they are after? But just before I can make it to my now unconscious boyfriend, the monster grabs me. I start to scream but stop when I realize who it is. "Why are you with him?" The monster growls angrily. Around me, voices buzzed like angry flies, phones were out, recording, whispering and filming me. Sasha took a step forward, face twisted between fear and disbelief. “Violet…” she choked. “What the actual fuck...what did you do?!” I blinked at her, then at Liam and suddenly, the room tilted cause my eyes were clearly heavy, I took a slow, shaky step toward him. But Sasha screamed. “Stay away from him!” I froze as more phones were up now, more eyes watching me with nothing but fear and horror. “She’s a monster,” someone muttered behind me.

"Oh shit!" Judas' eyes almost bulge out when he comes face to face with the hideous monster. He immediately sink into his chair and his breathings becomes heavy as he panics. " The monster…. it saw me… It……", Judas closes his eyes tightly, he trembles on his seat. " Stop panicking", Lucas harshly speaks, he is already getting irritated. " They can smell your fear." Judas gawks at Lucas. How come he is not afraid of getting killed?

But there was no other explanation for the brute of a male who was currently crushing the bones of his foe like it was nothing but a twig. A bloody hybrid. The male underneath him unleashed a blood curdling scream that shook the entire forest and he was still screaming when the male tore out his throat. Dead. Instantly. Oh Goddess, Eleanor thought, trembling with fear. He ran for the men who were trying desperately to escape the monster. Because that was what he was. The blood all over his bare chest, the blood that trailed down his jaw line as he tore out the throat of the next male and his red gaze...it was the most frightening thing Eleanor had seen in her entire life.
