Scar : the rejected Luna
I glanced at the mirror beside my bed and froze.
My hair was tangled, stuck to the sides of my face in sweaty strands. My clothes hung off me loosely, too big now that I’d stopped eating properly. The scar down my collarbone looked more prominent, and my eyes… gods, my eyes looked hollow, dull, completely drained of color. Puffy, red from too much crying. No wonder people looked at me like I was a ghost.
I was starting to look like one.
Then came another knock, lighter this time.
“I’ll be waiting, Luna,” Jayson’s voice came through.
