The little student who gets killed at the beginning of the story, it always works to set the scene. I should be scared stiff, but instead, I want to burst out laughing... It's probably my nerves letting go! Or just plain madness.

"Conrad, you're really—" An idiot! I didn't get the chance to say the words before Conrad had his hands tightly around my neck. My breath was slowly drained from my chest. Blood dripped from the corner of my mouth. It looked just like the red leaves that had fallen on the ground. "Shirley, are you having another headache?" The cold rain vanished. The hard floor disappeared. The crisp autumn air filled the space, and the room buzzed with guests. It was my 22nd birthday party and my engagement party with Conrad.

A part of her was scared for getting dump after they've had so much sex, so she was trying to hint him into proposing to her. The only way to make him listen to her was rejecting him when he was hungry for her body, because he would be willing to hit his head on the wall for her, if she made the request when he was in the mood….. The novel has lots of mature content, that can be blend into something not so R18, but still have the erotic feel. The audience started making requests for the novel to be made into a movie and hinting on how they will be ready to sell their soul to watch it, if he was the male lead.

The second one made more sense but it was also the one that I had the most doubt in being the truth because of the duration and everything happening and what I was hearing that I didn't know before. I had given up on finding anything in the local libraries or even on the internet because everything that came up in searches was folklore and creepy stories of people who swear they have seen the undead and everything else parents use to scare us, children, into behaving ourselves. Some of the sites I had ended up on had seriously scared me a lot more than the three men who had turned into vicious beasts and nibbled on a moving car's tyres.

She start off bringing out her packed up project stuffs, with no idea what am going to do next, I move to her and we start arguing on the topic we should write on. “I solely vote we write on something romantic…” she demonstrated her words. “Nahhh, that will be too common. Let write about something unrealistic, like a town full of murder, mystery, crime and a lot more. U get me,” her blank face shows her disinterest in my suggestion. “Let write on something we both don’t want then,” she told her both arms together. “Yeah, and that’s supernatural,” I scoff rolling my eyes. “Supernatural is it,” she pick up a two pieces of paper, and hand me one with a pen.

“I believe in you but what’s important is do you believe in yourself?” “I do.” “That’s what matters. As long as you believe in yourself, everyone’s opinions don’t matter.” “Do you think so?” “I know so.” “I have written a lot of short stories which i haven’t shown to anyone.” “Really?” “Yes.” “I would love to read them.” “I’m excited about the new story i thought of.” “What is it about?” “It’s about the most notorious crime family in Zambia.” “That sounds interesting.” “I don’t know where the idea came from but each and every day, it grows stronger,” Ludo smiled.

By now, we’ve all had more than a few drinks, and we’re halfway between tipsy and passed out. “Let’s tell scary stories,” Laura, one of my friends, suggests. “Are you sure that’s a good idea?” Kara asks. “These woods are spooky at night. I have to be able to sleep, you know.” “Maybe we should call one of those hunky forest rangers for you,” I suggest with a laugh. “He’d better bring a friend,” Laura says. “Or twelve,” Diana, another friend of mine, adds. We all laugh, and Laura starts in on the first story about night walkers, ghostly figures who march through the forest.

There was food everywhere, balloons I distinctly remembered telling her not to buy, and a giant cake sitting untouched on the counter because apparently turning nineteen was a national event. I stayed near the kitchen mostly. Safe distance. I was avoiding him. This morning's events still playing over in my head. He was different. Very different and I got scared. I didn't know what to do or who to talk to. Who am I kidding, who am I going to tell that I am scared of my best friend's nineteen year old son who I have been having sex with since last year. A woman who should know better. And yet all I could think about was being on my knees for a nineteen year old a few hours ago.
