Chapter 4 The Woman in White Elena's POV “Smile, Elena, the press is to your left.” “I am smiling,” I murmured, forcing a smile without looking at Damon. “Not like you’re walking into a funeral.” “Maybe I am actually doing that.” His jaw was already hardened slightly at that, but he didn’t respond. Typical of him. Three days ago, I had made the greatest discovery of my life, that the snow was a lie. Two nights ago, I still lay beside him, my emotions all over the place, while he slept like a man without guilt. Yesterday, he acted so smoothly, like nothing had happened between us.

The elders raised Snow up high above their heads so that everyone in the entire arena could see him clearly. "His name shall be Zane Snow Winter," the head elder announced in a voice that carried across the entire arena, "the son of Jude Winter and Rosie Elsa Winter, the fifty-fourth young alpha of Winter's pack!"

Hence, he walked to Logan and uttered, "Logan, you're narrow-minded. You may be ignorant of this. Alfred, the master of Firene, betrayed the Pearce family two months ago. She then stared at the faces of the others, and deep in her heart, she did not want to leave with them since they were more like strangers than family to her. There were only three people she loved deeply in this life. Two of them were supposedly dead, and the other one just asked her to run away with him. For Snow, she didn't want to lose the last person that meant the world to her. "I am sorry, dear. Your parents were good people." Nonna said as she parted with Snow's body. Snow slightly smiled to cover up the fact that she was feeling uncomfortable and stressed by the presence of all of them. As she stared intensely in the face of everyone, she could finally remember their names.

My legs were twisted, crushed under the weight of the snow. Shawn collapsed as he finally saw my corpse. The tool clattered to the ground. He stared blankly at my corpse as he shook his head vehemently.
