School Days

Janet grinned as well, of course she'd agree to go if Derek was going to show. After a few more minutes, the bus came to a stop. "Single file, if I see any one of you naked ehn! You'll see my red eye. Oya vamoose!" Mr Wesley threatened, glaring at all the students in the back. The girls in the bus giggled while the guys wooed, rushing out of the bus excitedly.

Bad boy's obsession

Bad boy's obsession

Belle POV She didn’t remember leaving the school. Not the hallway. Not the doors. Not the moment her feet carried her past the gates. One second she was there—surrounded by whispers, suffocating under memories that refused to stay buried— And the next— Silence. Real silence. The kind that didn’t belong in crowded spaces. The kind that lived in places people avoided. Places like this. --- St. Paul Cemetery. It stretched farther than most people realized. Rows of headstones lined uneven paths, some straight and polished, others tilted with time, names fading into stone as if even memory had abandoned them.

Master of Life and Death

Master of Life and Death

The graveyard was up on the hill. As soon as they arrived, Cassian first noticed six black coffins strewn haphazardly across the hillside. Then, he saw several freshly dug pits, along with a few funeral wreaths, and some other things scattered everywhere. The whole place was a mess. "Mr. Gulley, did all the villagers who died get buried here?" Cassian asked. "Yeah," Darren replied. Cassian circled the coffins and the pits, pacing back and forth as he tried to find even the faintest trace of a clue. After half an hour, he still hadn't found anything of value.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

Sparks flashed beneath the machine as it pushed forward through the darkening world. By the time night fully swallowed the land, Hayley returned to Haylight League's territory. Ahead of them stretched an entire line of zombies. In the back seat meant for three people, six were squeezed together. Marvin and the others slowly began to recover from the grief of leaving their school behind and losing their classmates. Then, they noticed what lay ahead. A massive horde of zombies filled the road. "Miss, there are so many zombies up ahead," someone whispered. "What's there to be scared of?" Hayley replied calmly.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

Devourer of Souls

Devourer of Souls

Like anyone faced with something they didn’t understand, I wrapped it up in a little box and shoved it deep down inside me. We were always hearing about weird stuff like that, anyway. A few years before, folks had found dead skinned cats next to the railroad tracks behind the high school. Most kids thought the abandoned barn sitting in an old cornfield on the edge of town was haunted. A ghost girl supposedly haunted Bassler Road on the way to Clifton Heights.

The Variable Life of Sam

The Variable Life of Sam

She was absorbed in the Scrabble game she was playing with her phone. Only two teachers came with us, one to handle the Junior Section, another to coordinate the Senior section. Guess Mr. Ozogbo did get the rest he "wanted" and that was bad news for Osmosis coz his father won't there to protect him anymore from the troubles he stirs up. I could sight the outskirts of Julius Berger Quarry from where our bus stopped. The huge machines at the site sure got my attention, as I was watching the workers working tirelessly like ants on a mission, the bus's engine revved, throttling back to life as we moved off.

The Witch's Bottle

The Witch's Bottle

She nodded yes. I turned the headlights off before we reached the church. I pulled into the dirt driveway between the building and the graveyard. Maxine turned on the spotlight. I rolled down the front driver's side and passenger windows. Doing so increased our awareness and ability to hear. It also prepared us for the cold. The spotlight showed the heat coming from the engine. It cast an eerie shadow from the centuries-old gravestones that covered the yard. I slowed, and Max adjusted the beam. We saw the dust and dander kicked up by the car. I brought the RMP to a complete stop and saw a group of teenagers. They darted from the darkest and oldest part of the cemetery, each heading his own w

MARKED BY BLOODLINE

MARKED BY BLOODLINE

The morning sun filtered weakly through the stained-glass windows of Wind Grave Academy, casting fractured patterns across the stone floors. The halls, usually filled with the low murmur of students and the clatter of hurried footsteps, were eerily quiet. Evelyn moved carefully, her senses still sharp from the previous night’s trial, every shadow and whisper magnified in her mind.
