it rumbled. The copper-colored slanted pupil eyes that matched her scales stared at Isabelle for a long time and made it feel like ants danced along her skin. “I think not. Wait outside the chamber if you must, but you will not like our discussion.” With a snapping of teeth that made Isabelle jump, the first dragon turned and scraped its body out of the opening and stomped away. “I’m D'Kohralx Vorian Churgo Desmonda.”

We soon reached a sleeping dragon, he was enormous. Dynaris approached the sleeping dragon, her footsteps echoing off the cavern walls. As she drew closer, the dragon's eyes flickered open, and he regarded her with a piercing gaze. Dynaris stood tall, her voice clear and steady. "I mean you no harm, noble dragon. I'm on a quest to reclaim the ancient dragon throne." The dragon's gaze narrowed, his voice low and rumbling. "Many have come before you, seeking to claim the throne. But few have succeeded. Are you prepared to face the trials that lie ahead?" Dynaris nodded, her determination evident. "I'm ready.”

Dude #2 yelled back suddenly. “Guys, we have no choice, we either do this or die when we go home, and if we run.. he’ll find us” dude#3 said. Unable to handle the truth of what awaits them, he started walking away from the other guys. ‘Sapphire, what are these guys?’ I asked my dragon, uncertain of their different scents. ‘That’s a delta dragon, gamma dragon and warrior dragon. That gamma dragon is the highest ranking one, deltas are like healers and warriors are obviously warriors,’ she laughed at me, making my fists clenched slightly.

" Oscar nodded slowly. He had heard as much before. Not every dragon was the universe's creation. Only the true dragons, those capable of drawing upon the world's deep currents and wielding genuine power, were the threat Draconox existed to contain. The sub-attribute breeds were, at most, a delicacy on Draconox's table. "So why would someone use a ritual like this to contact a dragon with no real power?" Oscar muttered, then shook his head. "Document everything. Then destroy the site. Sweep the entire city of Silverton. This is not the only ritual location."

And the Shadow Dragon." Seraphina frowned, her hands still faintly shimmering with residual golden light. "The one Nyx rode today?" Selena nodded, her jaw tightening. "The Nidhöggr. The Shadow Dragon. Historically, it was recorded as the most violent, the most fiercely intelligent, and utterly impossible to tame by any magical or physical constraint."

I raise my shoulders at her. "You met him already? Who is it? Wait, I don't understand. That asshole cheated on you?" Jodie went from happy to murder in five seconds. "Jeez, relax. I guess, I did meet him. I have no idea who it is. My mother says that my dragon will tell me. She just hasn't spoken to me yet." I place my hands on her shoulders and pushed her out the door. "It kind of makes sense why your dragon hasn't spoken to you. We get our dragons young, so they learn and grow with us. At this stage, your dragon is still a baby. I think she still has to learn to talk I guess." I look at her in utter disbelief.
