Something huge detached itself from the darkness and approached her. Carine scrabbled backwards away from the monster as it came towards her, halting in the middle of the room. It was six feet tall, covered in black leather which Carine abruptly realised was its skin and had what looked like wings folded on its back. She felt the twitch of madness grab at her as she looked upon the horrible face of a gargoyle; wide, bulging eyes in a muddy colour, fanged mouth revealed by peeled back lips. It stopped over the hole, squatted and issued a stream of liquid as it locked eyes with her. She’s just having a pee…

Two hulking gargoyle statues stood guard, hunched and frozen in place, their stone eyes glowing faintly under the moonlight. As we passed, one of them winked at me. Winked. I jumped a foot in the air and nearly grabbed Zephyr’s arm before catching myself. “Nope,” I muttered. “Not today, creepy statue bitch.”

Stonecutters and sculptors did booming business, turning out statues that looked as much like real gargoyles as possible. Would you take a chance, and try to rob a house that had a gargoyle on

"We are close" "Close to the demon's cave?" I queried. "No. Close to the creature that made that growl" Benjamin said. Before he could speak further, we felt a chill behind them. "Fucking hell!" My gaze widened at the creature behind us. "You didn't deem it necessary to inform me we were tracking a fucking gar" "It's called a Gargoyle and you didn't ask" Benjamin forced out as we watched the winged creature approach us as if approaching a prey.

Jane sprawled several feet away, the candle dropping to the ground but stayed lit. The naked beauty motioned to the stunned woman. Seconds later a grey figure approached Jane. The six-foot creature had small bat wings, a wide mouth full of long sharp teeth, a muscular torso but small thin legs and arms, and claws on both hands and feet. A gargoyle! The beast grabbed the mature woman in one hand and reached for her clothes with the other. It laughed a gruesome and terrible sound as it preceded to tear off Jane's clothing. The thing left several claw marks upon her pale smooth skin.

So no Scooby-Doo mysteries were solved here. "You're right." Drunko leaned into my space, specifically in the "your too close zone" as he chugged some drink that smelled like pure gasoline. He belched, obnoxiously loud and right in my face. The nerve of some people's children… "Hey, dude." Do not scissor-kick this dingus in the face, self, don't do it! "You mind easing back some?
