It pivoted, bounding after her. In moments, she was on the ground, her leg in the bear's jaws. It tore through fabric and flesh, ripping away a chunk of meat.

Its eyes are blazing red, and there are scars and visible bones on its body. A putrid stink of rotten flesh follows the creature, and I hold my breath, wondering if I'm hallucinating.

He grabbed the minion with a single, fluid motion and hurled him down to the first floor, The guy landed with a thunderous crash that echoed up the stairwell. Bear scooped me up from the floor. He said, "C..ome on," as he carried me away from the danger. His eyes caught my attention as he carried me through the dimly lit corridors. Usually brown, they seemed to flicker to an eerie shade of green in the shadowy light. I noticed his tattoo as my head rolled away from his face. The Bear's eyes tattooed on his arm were a vivid green, mirroring what I'd thought I'd just seen. The oddity made me question if my mind was playing tricks on me from the fall or something.

“Does your... friend... have any idea of where we should be looking?” At my question, Geo looks away and to a spot right beside me, causing a chill to race down my spine as I understand that the ghost must be there beside me. “He says it is in the burial grounds behind the temple.” Geo says quietly. “But there are boobytraps set up everywhere to stop people from getting near it.” Boobytraps… Were we characters in an action series? Why were things turning into some sci-fi movie? It was mind-blowing, but I guess just the fact we as wolves existed and hid our identities from the humans made it clear that anything was possible.
