THE WILD ROSE

THE WILD ROSE

“There’s a cop been sitting out there lately, handing out tickets like he’s getting paid per fine.” “Guess he’ll have to catch me first,” she said lightly. The low rumble of engines cut through the air before she could say anything else. It wasn’t one bike. It was many. The sound rolled in like distant thunder, growing louder as it approached, until it filled the space outside. Vivian grimaced. “Well,” she said, reaching for a glass. “Looks like we’re about to get busy. Road Wolves are back.” “How many?” Rose asked. Vivian leaned to peek out the window.

The Omega's Fate

The Omega's Fate

Wildheart exchanged an anxious look with Palemist as she tried to keep her kits calm. "Sprucepaw, we should head back to the barn," he suggested in a quiet voice, hoping that would break whatever hold Wind had over his niece. Sprucepaw blinked, and for a moment, Wildheart was afraid she might actually attack them. But her tense muscles had relaxed a little as she shook her head. "I suppose that wouldn't hurt," she sighed.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The vortex swelled and enclosed Warren, Fiona, and Homer. Just as it was about to swallow them, a gust of wind scattered it. The wind carried the presence of a primordial beast that seemed to frighten the restless souls trapped in the vortex. "Who's there?" Sylas frowned and looked around. Finding no one, he asked again, "Who did that? Show yourself." A crow in a nearby tree flapped its wings in Sylas' direction. After hearing Sylas, it stopped and croaked, "I'm not someone you can afford to cross. If you value your life, leave now. Or…"

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

the storyline is amazing. Love the FL. She is strong, fierce, righteous and so unaware. Landon is amazing, so supportive and heart warming tho feel sad for him he is unappreciated. I wish Fiona the best and hope she gets true love Owen never deserved her. Love grandpa Warren and Barron. It's amazing

His Property: The Alpha’s Swapped Bride

Scott yelled while a huge breeze blew across his face as Whyte stormed away but stormed back in a second "Damn it, I just took down about 30 of them but they ain't ending, it's like they are ants or something. They just keep storming in like wormholes, they are hundreds of them" Whyte replied a second after he came back while Scott rose to his feet, a smile on his face as he made to speak "Alright then, seems like it's our turn to bring y'all to safety after all!" Scott squealed and stared at Liam who nodded back through the use of their mind link

Wolf Tales

Wolf Tales

You can't afford to miss things. Who is this? Who is this? Lia waited, motionless, all her senses on alert. At last, the other wolf loped off, but it turned every so often to see if she was still there before speeding up and heading toward the residential area. Even then, she stayed in place until she was sure the black wolf was completely gone from the area. When the wind no longer carried his scent to her, she finally took off back toward where she had left the car, still moving as stealthily as possible. There could be others in the area, hiding in the trees, maybe part of the black wolf's pack, if indeed there was one here.

Where Wild Things Roam

Where Wild Things Roam

Eventually, we round a river bend and with a vaulting leap, land in a cavernous and secret pool tucked into an unmapped niche of the Candlewood river basin she clearly knows well. Pulling herself up onto the side of a broad flat stone where a trickle of the river drops over a two-foot waterfall feeding moving water into the pool, Sandy lounges in the reflected moonlight, half-in, half-out and waits for me to poke my head above the surface. “Ready to leave the forest and become a water sprite?” She reaches over, her scaled hand gliding over my scaled hide in a loving caress. In this form, it feels a lot like running through the woods. Might not be as difficult as you think. Am I only able to

Caution to the wind

Caution to the wind

The second was a giant white rabbit with a blue ribbon that sat under Theo's other arm. Arte pointed out a hook-a-duck stall and bounced over without thinking, tapping Alec's card. There was no explanation needed for this one; Arte was good at things like this. She watched, waiting. Swiftly, she hooked a large blue duck and pulled it over to the bench. Four more goes left, and each time, she hooked a large duck. She bounced back over to Theo and Emma, holding two more giant teddies - A fluffy black bear and an orange fox.
