Blake is the only one remaining. "Now, what were you saying?" Joel asks. "You can't do this. I'm an alpha." He yells, but he doesn't sound as sure of himself. Suddenly, a large grey wolf comes from behind me. I'm not sure who it is because I don't know the other's scents yet. When the wolf shifts, I see it's Scott. "This bastard is the one who sold me to another pack to be tortured. Please tell me that whatever you have planned for him it's painful." Scott says, shaking with anger.

Russo planted himself firmly in his choices. I stood there, my mouth agape, for a long minute. Betrayal was becoming second nature. “Come on, Helen, let’s just get this over with!” Scott’s voice boomed through the woods, stepping from the other wolves in his bare, mortal form as he shifted out of his large, dark wolf. His eyes twinkled at my nakedness and I cringed. “Looking delicious, as usual.” I sneered at his words. “As always? You rejected me, Scott. Don’t act like this is a bonded temptation. You just want to make me just as miserable as you are!”
