Twenty Seven Days

Twenty Seven Days

New York. Xavier's Penthouse. Thursday. 11:47 AM Xavier was already deep into a call with Nadia before Scarlett had even finished her second round of logistics. The penthouse had shifted from a residence into a tactical assembly floor. Margot had somehow manifested a fourth monitor—a tablet propped precariously against the backsplash—running the Apex-7 documentation in a scrolling waterfall of data that sat parallel to the seventeen-name verification and the grand jury procedural requirements she’d been researching for the last hour in a silent, caffeinated fury.

Three Scars:Betrayed by the Don

Three Scars:Betrayed by the Don

Back to the time I foolishly believed he was loyal to me? I was practically dragged to the operating room by Gavin. I held the cold scalpel in my hand. My hand was steady—a professional instinct, even though my body was so weak I could barely stand. Sofia lay on the table, unconscious from the anesthesia. As the nurse cut away her gown, revealing her chest, my scalpel stopped dead. Just below her collarbone, near her heart, was a black tattoo. It was a blooming black rose entwined with a dagger—the sigil of the Whitestone matriarch.

Reclaiming Mrs. Wolfe

Reclaiming Mrs. Wolfe

Her eyes were cold, diamond-blue mirrors. She looked exactly like the Grace Sterling on the billboards. But she was holding a heavy, black-iron scepter that pulsed with a rhythmic, blue light. "The Ninety-Day Clause is officially over," the woman said. Her voice was a perfect, high-fidelity replica of my own. She pointed the scepter at Ethan. "Unit 7," she commanded. "Initialize the Scorched Earth Protocol. Eliminate the corrupted hardware." Ethan stood up. He didn't look at me. He didn't look at the baby.

Godfather World

Godfather World

He swapped roles with Oritha, who was happy to be the damage assistant and Sasha’s protector. Zen nodded in satisfaction from the sofa. The Seer was an excellent decoy. The boss constantly attacked him after teleporting while Akiko kept her eyes on the soul lamps and informed the swift surgeon where the boss would appear. Sasha wasn’t doing too shabby either. She fired as many shots as possible, preventing the boss from getting near any pillars and protecting Akiko’s scout position. Zen watched the boss struggle to teleport when Sasha’s shots became more accurate. His theory that the boss could not teleport when there was light was correct. Noting this, he instructed the two girls on standby

Only then did he let down the beast. Xiao Chen looked at the shrub in his hands and laughed. "Well, we got it now. Let's go back." Just as he was about to walk up the stairs, he suddenly felt the familiar aura from before. This time, it didn't come from the Great Devil on the same floor, but from deep below the ground—the ninth floor, the Avici level!

I genuinely love this book, only problems I have with it is the fact that he never actually travels with the people he gets to join him (hattie Mia etc) I wish there were more interaction between them all. second is that there are only 2 or so chapters a day....I have plenty of coins to waste...

I believe no updates is due to the platform not the authors themselves. Many of the books I’m reading are not updated as well. It is possible the authors are not able to upload their chapters on the platform

she managed. “I disliked its manner.” “It contained the antidote.” “I continue to dislike it.” He lowered her to the floor. Her breathing had become shallow. “Tell me what to do.” “The compound was identified as E-Seven inhibitor.” Lucian searched the damaged terminal. Most of the display had shattered, but internal storage cartridges remained intact. Each bore a number. E-1. E-2. E-3. Through E-28. He found E-7. Two vials rested inside.

"Transmit the data." Don slammed the enter key, the screen flashing green as the upload hit one hundred percent. "Tell Shinjiro to focus all his boys on Depot Seven," Don instructed, leaning close to the mic. "Dominic is out of cash, and the asset freeze cleared out his heavy guards. The seventh sector is a ghost town between two and three in the morning." "We confirm receipt," the liaison said flatly. "Get your bags packed. Before we change our mind." Out at the coastal villa, rain lished against the windows.
