Susan's scream did not belong in the command center. That was how Haley knew it was real. Her mother had many screams. Social scream, for when a waiter spilled wine near couture. The movie was my ultimate comfort movie and I liked that I could forget my worries by thrusting myself into the life of Elle Woods. And as always, the movie was over. I had polished off the cookies and hot chocolate during the movie but I wasn’t ready to leave yet so I had to figure out something else to watch. Scrolling through the numerous viewing platforms, I decided to go out of my comfort zone and watch Scream. I hated horror movies but I figured Scream wouldn't be so bad. After all, it was satire, right? The movie turned out to be scarier than I anticipated, and by the time the closing credits rolled, I had the blanket almost covering my face whilst cowering in my seat.
