My body lands harshly on the unforgiving floor as my head hits the concrete. My vision blurs when the popping noises begin. It sounds like a machine gun going off. I hear their screams, their pleas.

She probably had a piece of plastic or a ruler, sliding it against the wall just to get a rise out of Lin. The third night was the worst. The scratching didn't just start; it erupted. It sounded like ten sets of hands were clawing at the drywall, trying to shred their way into her room. The screeching of nails against the wall was so piercing it felt like it was carving lines into Lin’s own brain. Skree. Scritch. Skree. "Sarah, I swear to God, this isn't funny anymore!" Lin yelled. She felt a surge of genuine irritation. The noise was unbearable, unsettling in a way that made her skin feel too tight for her body.

Moaning, holding my head I try and block out the noise, I’m hearing a pinging sound. “What the hell is that sound”, I groan and try and open my eyes. My head is pounding, feeling like it’s going to explode, I slowly open my eyes. I’m freaking still on the couch in the club, and I can see the sunlight pouring in through the one small window in the otherwise dark office space. Finally managing to sit up and then it hits me, it’s my fucking phone making the noise.

It's because of all the voices in her head. She couldn't stop it and that caused her to scream her lungs out. The peaceful night was disturbed by her scream. Even the birds flap their wings to fly away from the said place. She screams, and scream and scream until her voice gave up on her. She literally can't produce any sound. It was in favor of the people who heard her for they can continue their peaceful slumber.

Anger wraps up my entire veins, I want to fucking scream out but I feel something invisible holding my neck tight not to scream because this place is deafening silence. Too quiet to make a noise.

The sound of his panicked screaming seemed to echo endlessly through the hallways, bouncing back and forth among the walls. Eventually, he sank to the floor with his hands covering his ears, curling in on himself. As he lay there, he listened to the voices whispering in the background, telling him to stay calm and not give in to fear, to breathe calmly. He squeezed his eyes shut and took deep breaths to help himself relax. Slowly, the world around him started to become visible again. Gradually, the noises of the people faded away, becoming faint in the distance. Once again, he was left with just his own muffled screams.

The screech of the iron sirens tore through the silence of Havenfall, a high-pitched wail that felt like a serrated blade dragging across Zack’s nerves. He groaned, eyes snapping open, and slammed a heavy pillow over his face to drown out the noise. It was too early for this shit.

It blasted in again, forcing them to cover up their ears with a groan of pain as he felt his ear drums tearing apart. “What's that sound? It's killing me!!” Dorry screamed amidst the screech. “It's coming from the sky!!” Theo screamed back just to be audible enough.

Whether with or without help from anyone else! Just as we were both silently staring in the same direction, a sudden sound of crying in great despair broke the deafening silence that filled the entire place. “Agghhhhh! No!!!! No!!! Aaaaahhhhhhhh!” Skye screamed so loud. It was almost bone-chilling.
