Laughing. “That's her,” Talana whispered. “That's my mother.” Katerina’s voice was shaky. “You look just like her.” Talana lifted the first drive. “Plug it in.” Matteo inserted it into the portable laptop they brought. “Booting up now... Give it a second.” A screen opened with a symbol: a blood-red rose and a phrase beneath it: Operazione Rosalina – Authorization Level: Omega Nero Massimo frowned. “What the hell is Omega Nero?”

"Is it Vane?" "I don't know who the fuck it is," Sloane spat. A heavy metallic thud echoed in the background – she was likely kicking a vent shut. "But they’re playing the audio loop. The same dark whispers. Lolita, they’re using your voice. They’ve synthesised your commands. They are telling me to submit." Franco’s face went ash – grey. "The Phantom Protocol," he breathed. "Vane’s signature. He’s weaponising their lust. He's turning your own hounds against their senses."

, under her breath. That earned her a look from the corner of Mal’s eyes. He smiled at her and leaned forward towards the smoky white crystals and whispered, “Granny. I know you can hear us. Show yourself.” With an open mouth, she watched as an older lady appeared above the crystals. The kind-looking woman smiled at both of them, then settled her gaze on Mal. “You need something, Your Highness?” Claire shook her head in disbelief. The kinky ghost in her apartment came from the crystals Ramona gave her as a housewarming gift for her first and only apartment. She pressed fingertips to her temples, trying to avoid a migraine. “This can’t be happening.”

Midnight Horror Show

Midnight Horror Show

This James worked the stage like a man possessed, pantomiming the lyrics of the heavy metal music with more conviction than I could imagine the actual performers could muster. After the second chorus, he slammed the microphone stand down with a bang and the music abruptly changed from the heavy metal song to a creepy pipe organ playing the bit from Phantom of the Opera followed by a mixture of hokey sound effects of wind, lightning, owls, and wolves. The TV sets blinked into motion, each displaying short flashing clips from different horror movies. Nothing but fangs and knives and screams. Bodies torn and slashed and monsters loosed upon their helpless victims. “Well, my little boils and gho

In his hands was a long strip of black silk. “Tonight we perform Christine’s part from *The Phantom of the Opera*,” he said, voice low and commanding. “The scene where she is drawn to the Phantom in the darkness. You will be blindfolded. You will sing while I take you on the piano. The music and the blindfold will strip away your control. Your voice must carry through the pleasure.” My pulse raced. “Blindfolded… on the piano?”

This is such an interesting book, and the characters are really good. Jane is that one friend anybody should have, and then Elara who was called barren was finally going to be having her baby. It's a pity her husband had to cheat on her with her step sister. Overall the story is really good.

Honestly I love that she had a friend like Jane, I love her personality. I love how I could feel every emotion you tried to put into words and everything played like a movie in my thoughts. This is such a good read. Kudos dear author...️

Hiding the Alpha’s Twins: His Wolfless Luna

Hiding the Alpha’s Twins: His Wolfless Luna

The kind that would make you fall asleep like it was some kind of lullaby. Not long after, we both heard gasps and someone who was struggling to breathe. Diana and I opened our eyes, but we kept holding hands to ensure the spell continued to work. We watched how the Phantom Lady writhed in pain. Like something inside her was fighting back the purification spell that my sister and I cast on her. As the purification spell started to get rid of the black veins all over her, making half of her face visible with tears rolling down her cheeks, she reached for my mom, like she was begging for her help.

Midnight Phantom

[Cara] “What? Aren't you going to say something?” I grilled out, steeling myself not to break down as the memories from those horrid nights started to come back and haunt me. Those that made me feel so dirty that I couldn't stand being in my own skin. He didn't talk. My phantom has just turned his dark eyes toward me and is staring at me as though he’s seeing nothing but me. Contrition most of all was gleaming, and much like me, it looked as though he had a lot of things he wanted to say to me but couldn't.

Thea arched an eyebrow and replied with amusement, “My, now that you’re older, your bluster has grown worse. It appears you’ve failed to douse the flames within.” Enraged, Hyacinth thrust her head into the void and summoned colossal phantom palms. With a resounding crash, the sky filled with numerous phantom palms directed toward Thea’s purple-red lotus from all directions. Unexpectedly, the phantom palms were effortlessly absorbed into the lotus upon contact, vanishing without a trace. Hyacinth exclaimed in disbelief, “You…you’ve inherited Taishi’s powers? I’ve underestimated you.” “I’m sure you must be tired by now. My turn.” Thea flashed an indifferent smile and extended her arms, effortl

This end is terrible. I strongly believe there is a volume 2 or part 2. I refuse to be left hanging and thinking of a million ways the whole thing played out. Patiently waiting for volume 2............
