Life After Prison

Life After Prison

Its characteristic was relatively peaceful and could help cultivators in the creation of alchemical pills and weapons without consuming much of their spiritual energy. There was also the ten-thousand-year-old mysterious flames in the deep sea, which was bone-chillingly cold. There was the legendary flame of the phoenix, comparable to that of an immortal, and the fire of the sacred beast, Vermillion Bird.

Elena
This storyline has some interesting characters. Jada and Easton are so busy ranting and raving about Severin and Edward is making a complete donkey out of them. This is a good book. I know it’s ongoing but so far I am enjoying it. Do not miss an exciting book if you’re looking for something goo.

one of the best novels of this site. well written and great story. The only problem is Monday you get a lot of pages and chapters, and the rest of the week you get a page a day. Come on the author and this site can do better. Really about to stop reading because of this.

Silent Flame

Silent Flame

“Then we do this together.” Celeste nodded. “The first fire will be named. The justification dismantled. And the pattern broken.” Outside, the city lights flickered on as evening settled. The world continued, unaware of the history written into ash beneath its feet. Evelyn looked once more at the folder on the table. Fires. Names. Lies framed as necessity. The first fire had been lit in fear. This time, the truth would burn instead. And it would not stop until the pattern was gone.

May the Flames of Hell Engulf You

May the Flames of Hell Engulf You

Lexie's POV A week later, Daniella was gone. I didn't hold a funeral for her according to her will. Instead, I buried her in the place she had chosen before she passed. There was a lake in front of it, where the sunset could be seen. In the spring, tiny blue and pink flowers would bloom. She didn't suffer much when she died. I cried as I kept telling her I was sorry, but she just smiled and said, "I've already forgiven you."

Flames of Regret

Flames of Regret

When they finally crawled ashore, Owen looked at me pitifully and asked if I remembered anything. When I shook my head, disappointment filled his eyes. Still, he said, "It's okay. I'll keep trying to help you remember." He brought me roses every day, saying that they were my favorite flowers. But I didn't care. The sight of that bright red color only made me feel disgusted. He also brought me an embroidered wedding dress, saying that it was a gift from my mentor. Apparently, I had worn it for him once before, and he had been completely captivated.

Flames of Regret

Flames of Regret

Watching this pair of shameless lovers put on such a melodramatic show in front of me almost made me gag. With a mocking sneer, I said, "You should feel guilty. My dear husband chose to save his old flame while leaving his actual wife to fend for herself. If I were to spread the word, do you think the two of you would be drowned in public outrage?" Celestine stiffened for a moment at my words, but she quickly recovered and suddenly lunged toward the wall as if to bash her head against it. "Let me die! Let me die! It's my fault Ophelia got burned. I'll compensate her with my life!"

Sacred Flame

Sacred Flame

Now with their dance complete, the snakes fly out into the universe. A thick mist now appears before me. I feel its cool wetness as I leave my body and begin to move through it, to the center of the area, where I become completely enveloped in the mist. As the mist thins, I find myself at the opening of a large cave near a sea cliff, under a cool, starry night sky, with the smell of seawater light in the air. I am drawn to enter the cave. Guided by flaming torches, I descend through the ancient rocky path, observing small glints of embedded crystals that have formed over the millennia. I feel this place's power in the air.

UP IN FLAMES

UP IN FLAMES

It had morphed into a burning passion that knotted in her chest. The truth was, no matter how she felt about Alaric, she didn’t belong with him. For some reason, Paul's appearance served as a brutal, much-needed wakeup call. She needed to get out before she got even more invested, which seemed stupid, because how much more invested could she get? Closing her eyes, she tipped her head back and let the water and steam do its thing, wishing it could wash away Alaric's presence as well as it did his scent, but that was foolish, wasn’t it?

The Alpha's Dragon

The Alpha's Dragon

Ringing of promises that spelled fatalities. Valia’s eyes fluttered shut as she summoned the inferno buried in her blood. Flames licked her veins, searing the illusions away. The ground trembled as her power bled through her skin, blue fire and ocean light colliding on her skin like a living armor. When she opened her eyes again, her pupils had narrowed to dragon slits, burning in hues of oceanrage and emerald flame. The Siren faltered. “Oh, little Siren” Valia murmured with a smirk, her voice thrumming through the cave sensuously, “you have no idea whose wrath you’ve just incurred, do you?.”
