The Harbor

The Harbor

My legs buckled when I was told that they'd fished the body of Christopher Quinton from the sea. My knees smashed into the gravel beneath my feet because I knew he'd have survived if he hadn't tried to save me. Three days later, I dealt with all the enemies and became the demoness of Porton's elite circle. Five years later, the pier business expanded considerably. However, I kept the scar on my arm as a memento to remind me of him. It had been five years since he died, exactly five years. I bought a bottle of herbicide in an attempt to take my own life. Then, I saw the supposedly dead Christopher proposing to my best friend, Zoe Shaw. I saw all my underlings congratulate them. I froze for

The Alpha's Stray Secret

The Alpha's Stray Secret

The crisp mountain air of the Red River gorge gave way to the sharp, salty tang of the Eastern Sea as the matte-black Blackwood motorcade sped along the coastal highway. Below the winding cliffside road, the deep harbor of Sector Seven stretched out like a crescent of dark obsidian, its iron docks illuminated by the harsh orange glow of industrial floodlights.

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Edges are all smoothed out most of the time. I took a deep breath to calm down my spiraling nerves before walking back to Selma and my siblings. The fishing village was about a mile away from my home. It was a quiet place with most of the activity happening only near the beach. Seafood vendors everywhere at the tiny market square and there were a few people selling fishing and boating merchandise. Besides these, there were several witchy looking women selling interesting paraphernalia. "They are called sea witches," Iona explained, "They draw their magical powers from the ocean and can also influence the tides and safety of the voyagers and ships."

I didn’t see that coming in chapter 80. I know why it had to happen this way and how it’s going to pay off but I really loved reading their little side story and feel sad that it ended and he will be grieving. It’s one of the best redemption arcs and would like to read more about him.
Christy Pfeiffer
I just started reading this and it's actually the only story I've actually read on this app! (I mainly use it to check on my own stories, and to find out what those are search Christy Pfeiffer in the search bar!!) So far so good! I felt bad for the heroine as her boyfriend dumped her 😔

Beneath The Sea

Beneath The Sea

Amansinaya exclaimed. 'How did it went like this?' you might ask. Well, it started with an argument. (Author: Let us turn the hands of time and show how it all began.) "I said we should continue searching beneath the sea." Amansinaya suggested as I stood up. "It is possible that she's out there." She continued. I nodded, she's right about that. Asherah's a mermaid so there's a high possibility that she's in the cerulean and vast sea.

Waindale

Waindale

Two huge werewolves—what else can scare me in these woods? The water is gloomy. It rises up on those many little pebbles and drains back down. I stand at the water line with my hands warm in my jacket. My eyes watch the rising and falling again and again until the distance calls to me. There's nothing—just inky water that looks unforgiving. My eyes trail along the horizon until they reach the cliffs. Green and jagged. The needle-like rocks below stop anyone from cliff-jumping. Waves crash up against the base like its slowly wasting the mountains away. Slowly. I gaze up to the top where monstrous trees stare out at the ocean. One day I want to hike up there and stand at the end and look out a

On the way we hit traffic, while Gregory and Lanna were quite relaxed me and Acre were on edge, Acre was so bad his hand was on the door handle "Calm down guys it wont be long" Gregory said looking in the rearview mirror. As soon as the car stopped me and Acre lept out of the car ready to tear apart anyone who so much as looked at our mates wrong but as soon as I took a deep breath the sweet scent of the sun, sea, sand and icecream hits me causing me to stop in my tracks and from the looks of things Acre has caught the scent of his mate too.

I said with a laugh as worry lines creased his brow. We rode the Hipper, a superconducting levitation transporter that took city dwellers to and from the Drock, then proceeded onward to the edge of the ice lands. At speeds of over five hundred miles an hour, we passed computerized automotive harvesters and hovering seeding machines that dotted the landscape. Leaves as bright as jewels spun through the air in the Hipper’s wake. In the distance, the towering ice mountains stretched across the horizon. The ice lands covered two-thirds of our planet, sustaining a population of more than eighty million.

Claim by the Don

Claim by the Don

The breeze caresses my skin, keeping it pleasantly warm, like it's hugging me. The sea ahead looked dozy as it rested in the afternoon glow, a massive expanse of crystal clear water with a miniature sail boat proudly resting on the shore. The calm sea reflects the amazing colour of the sunlight in a way only it can. The Waves gently lull on the Sandy shore, slowly breaking then receding, always gracefully touching my toes. The smell which these waves conjure is not fishy and disgusting but rather soft and a little salty which is just so luscious.

Awesome! Great love story with a wonderful storyline, written well with just some minor editing needed, strong characters, not drawn out and held my interest from start to finish. Keep up this outstanding work author and I will be looking for more of your completed work.

the first book is very nice, but this third book you are dragging it too much that I don't enjoy it, I have skipped a lot of chapters but still it will be the same thing. you have to stop dragging it or a lot of people will stop reading it

Weston The sea water is cold but exactly what I needed this morning. One side of South Madre Island is the gulf, and the other is the ocean. The ocean side has the best waves, which is where I currently am sitting on my board and bobbing along, waiting for the larger waves as the sun rises. It’s so beautiful out here. I miss this, just not the rest of the memories that I have of my time spent growing up here.

Whatever lies on the other side of this bridge, it for sure won’t be like small-town Wisconsin. “At least we’re close to other people.” Brynn picks up the pace, talking a mile a minute. “There’s a town only a few miles away, and there’s a lake, too. It’s right next to the sea, and there’s a sandbar between them. It’s approximately fifty feet when the tide is low, and you can go out on it like it’s a regular beach. There’s a certain time of the year where the sandbar is gone and the lake connects with the ocean.”
