"Also, dig those black roses out, root and all. The very sight of them irritates me!" - Thirty minutes later, Alfie rushed into the study, clearly panicking. "Mr. Garnett! We've searched the whole villa, but there's no sign of Ms. Smith! But… But…" John clicked his tongue, pursing his lips as he narrowed his eyes sharply. "But, what? Speak properly!" Alfie took a deep breath, and did his best to finish his sentence. "We found Ms. Smith's clothes and phone in the soil beneath the black roses… along with a human skeleton!"

Edwards offered. Hmmmm, it was coming up to Christmas time and with the estate being repaired it would be a sight for a visit. Rose figured her da would be missing her and want to spend Christmas with her, at least she could use the estate as a diversion to keep him around a bit longer with some extended holidays. With that thought in mind they left Mr. Edwards to tidy the mess of his workshop and headed back to the estate, knowing they have another set of challenges to overcome. How is Rose going to convince her dad to stay with her so far from London in a house he despised?!

LIAM’S POV Rosewood City was usually known for its crisp weather. But for some reason, the every moment that my legs stepped down from the plane, all I could feel was suffocation, which normally would make no sense, I mean the sun was bright, the city had strict laws on pollution and so the air was clean. But it was not just about the weather, or the clean streets, or vibrant trees, no, it was more about the fact that this was the city that Anika almost lost her life.

Alessia's POV The steering wheel of the pickup was scorching hot as another beam crashed down onto the hood, and the thick smoke from the burning oil vats was filling the entire loading bay so fast that I couldn't even see the front bumper of Lucien’s van through the windshield. The new headlights coming through the back orchard meant Rossi was sending his secondary line to seal our rear flank before Paolo could even clear the wrecked flatbed from the main driveway, and our boys were down to their last two boxes of rifle cartridges while the southern shooters were already advancing across the irrigation ditch with fresh magazines.

She read it and she froze making everyone feel so nervous. “What- What is wrong Rose? Is that about Z?” Henry asks and Rose looks up at them and she looks so frozen. “She- She is awake and she is so angry. She said…… time for the finale phase.” Rose said with a heavy sigh making everyone froze. “Everything will be dangerous now. Let’s all prepare and be ready for the finale phase of Z’s plan.” Jake said and they all nod and deep sighs are heard from everyone.

Rose shouted for her and was about to run after her dog when she heard a twig snap right behind her. She didn’t wait to see what it was: she whipped around and aimed her gun at whatever was following her. She waited, her body trembling with tension. She knew, with a certainty only gained by experience, that she was no longer alone. “That’s not very nice,” Johnny said as he emerged from the woods like some creepy specter. “Pointing a gun at me.” Rose kept the gun leveled straight at his heart. “I still have time,” she said in reply. “I’m aware.” He pulled out a packet of his stupid clove cigarettes, lighting one as he walked closer. He seemed completely unconcerned about the gun aimed straigh

She tried to ignore this pain and she did not regain consciousness until after Leo's sister spoke to her. Maya said: "They seem to fit together, don't they?"
