Master of Her Sins
“Go back to bed, boy. We’re just making sure the girl knows her place. Your father isn't here to play babysitter.”
Sebastian didn't argue. He lunged.
He threw his entire weight into the first punch, catching the senior guard square across the jaw with a sickening, heavy impact.
The fight wasn't clean. Sebastian took a brutal blow to the side of his head that sent him staggering into the wet cobbles, splitting his lip open, but he didn't stay down.
He fought with a feral, terrifying instinct, driving the larger man back with relentless, bone-crunching strikes, using his elbows and knees until the guard crashed heavily onto the stones, choking on his own blood.
