The Huntress

The Huntress

“No, I want recommendations on books, preferably the slow burns with two people trying to fight their connection when they were soulmates from the moment they met but they were blind.” She huffed annoyed, “I would recommend Birthday Girl by Penelo-“ “Penelope Douglas about Jordan and Pike Lawson, who is her ex-boyfriend’s dad, but yet they fell for each other and in the end have kids and her ex was happy with it. Yeah, I’ve read it but that’s not what I was referring to,” she scrunched her eyebrows together and looked perplexed and what I had just said, “I was talking about me and you and whether you like it or not.”

His Second Chance

His Second Chance

She had chosen to take on the reins of her own life and decisions. “Thank you.” She only whispered before walking into her bedroom. A newspaper was sitting on her bed along with other scattered ensembles of hers all over her room. Madeline was never disorganized but lately she had a lot on her time than thinking of tidying up her room. She took the newspaper off the bed and she saw some cheap apartments with only one room which she had circled. She didn't plan on renewing her rent but move into a more smaller apartment, she didn't care how bad the apartment would be as long as it will shield her and her baby from the streets.

The Heirs Second Chance At Forever.

The Heirs Second Chance At Forever.

I was absolutely terrified because I didn’t know if she was there waiting for him to find her and respark things, but I deluded myself into believing that couldn’t be. But it was the case, and instead of continuing to go back down their own paths, they found each other again, grew closer, and were slowly returning to what they were in the past while I remained hopeless. Sighing, I snap out of my head and turn into the parking lot of my condo, and once I’m parked, I head up. When I arrive at my temporary home, I beeline for the kitchen and grab a bottle of champagne out of my fridge. “It is going to be a drinking night.” I announce, popping the cork off and pulling a glass out of the cabinet,

Second chances: Love or revenge?

Second chances: Love or revenge?

But because it was the first time she had liked someone, she had the heart of a thief but not the courage, so she could only find a position far away from him to hide and secretly watch him. This situation continued until one night a week later, when an unexpected fire broke out in the internet café due to aging circuits. Ella instinctively ran out, but when she turned around, she found that Lucas had not come out yet! Lucas had always liked to sit in a corner of the internet café, and this time the circuit that caught fire was right next to him. Ella's mind went blank at the thought of this. Without even thinking, she rushed back into the internet café. Finally, she found Lucas in the corne

His Second Chance

His Second Chance

I knew that it was the right thing to do, and it made me feel a little better about the situation. As I sat back in my chair, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief. I had confided in Jason and written a letter to Ginny. I had done everything in my power to make things right. All that was left now was to move forward and start a new chapter in my life with Princess Golder.

Forcefully Married To My Second Chance Mate

Forcefully Married To My Second Chance Mate

She left the library. Aurora stared again at her retreating figure, and she turned around to look at the guards who stood at each corner of the library. They all looked creepy with their dark suits and dark shades. Slowly, she walked towards some of the shelves as she raked her hands through each book. Then she found a book that caught her attention, which was boldly written "The Dark Dracula." She smiled at what she saw; she had always wanted to read this book but never found it. She had heard short tales about it from chapters people read but never got to read it.

Second Chance or Nightmare?

Second Chance or Nightmare?

Ally’s POV It had been a month with probably 80 missed calls and 200 text messages which I was not responding to you. I knew at this point that I was a problem for him and he had a life in place. It wasn’t going to be worth it for me or fair to anyone else to be inserted into this life. And focus primarily on my kids we had taken a trip out of state. Enjoyed some New England coastline learned a lot of history and really focused on growth for all of us. We were in a really good place. We had just put an offer on a house and really started seeing things come to fruition for all of our hard work. My kids were excited and enjoying their lives as well. Has luck would have it. I was out with one o

Second Chance Christmas

Second Chance Christmas

Julia “A second chance,” he murmured, his steely gaze soft and pleading. “A second chance?” I echoed, chuckling dryly as I looked at him as though he'd just spouted another head. ”For what?!” I snapped. “After everything you've done, you still have the nerve to ask that?” I seethed, watching in contempt as his expression remained guarded. “Darling, I wasn't asking,” he scoffed, raising his hand and pushing a stray lock of hair behind my ear while his fingers lingered a second longer on my skin.

I'm almost done with book 1 and all I can say is you need to read this, what u see in the first few chapters were just snacks, the real thing is when Catherine and Shawn's adventures started to look for his grandfather's treasures. It was like full of twist and your learn alot from this.
