************** 2 Days later ************** I hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to say or do once I met with Elena's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Badmus. However, I nudged myself to go ahead after all Elena would be there with me, we would be making our relationship official and also inform them of our pregnancy. I hoped they would be kind and sweet to me as my parents were to Elena.

When I got to the front of the beta's room, I knocked. Two minutes later the door was opened and I came face to face with the beta. "Uhh, your mate asked me to make this for her," I said as I raised the food tray a little. "Is that coffee?" He queried. "Yes, she asked me to make it," I told him. "And why would you make it? Didn't you know pregnant women aren't supposed to take too much of it? She had two cups an hour ago." "Hey! How am I supposed to know that she already had two cups earlier?" I thought in my mind. I was beginning to get irritated.

I turned to look at Ivana. “I was here staring at it all day, I was staring at it to hear and remember those words she had said to me at the airport and compare it with what she told me yesterday at the balcony…” I shut my eyes and open them up again. “I couldn’t remember all the words she told me yesterday, I could only remember the words she told me 14 years ago.” I look at the necklace. “I wanted to throw it away, but after much contemplation, I figured it all out.” I looked at Ivana and could tell she was curious to know what I figured out even if she doesn’t want to say a word.

I hurried to reassure him. When the call ended, Will and I exchanged a look. Revenge gleamed in both our eyes. Three days later, the city's first snow fell. The stage was set; the performance was about to begin.
